Can the deadine be extended without mp3s? Less than a week isn't a great deal when I imagine most people are waiting for them.

Agreed with Mark, I haven't listened to them once - whereas I would have been able to if I had the MP3s on my iPod. Please extend the deadline John.

I agree with the above, clicking on links is time consuming - I'd love to have the mp3s so I can listen to the songs continuously whilst doing other things. ^_^

I was probably going to have to extend the deadline anyway as one of my exams has been moved up to January 6th (with another on the 8th) anyway so another week would work well for me anyway!

 

Again, sorry about the MP3's. I did not anticipate how DIRE my internet would be when trying to upload stuff.

I have voted, and apologies for soundcloud entries but I cant access to listen, and don't have the IT skills to overcome without downloading stuff to the laptop (which then won't open as Ive lost the password forever for updates). Doh! If the mp3's pop along I'll review my votes and amend as required....(time permitting, today may be my only free day for a while)

 

To be honest, my own personal taste is for songs or melody or different-sounding variations thereof, but I can't cope with avant-garde structures that stray too far outside the song format, it's too random for my ageing brain to absorb - so there were quite a few outside my comfort zone, and only one (apart from my own) that I would actually get major enthusiastic for (I'm going to buy it!) so it's appropriate it gets substantially more points from than the other runner-ups. A gem....

Well ... I've listened to all of them, I'm really struggling to pick 12 tracks, most of the dance tracks seem to roll into one.

I voted a while ago (via the links) as I won't have much time from Monday onwards, it was a nice selection with three that stood out and one which is my favourite UP discovery for some time.

If your net is still acting up and there's nothing sauce in your messages, you could hand me or some user you trust access to your account for an hour or two, and said person could then collect all the mp3's and upload. As things stand, I suspect less than half the entrants have listened to the songs.

I've actually done just that (with someone who isn't participating so it makes no difference), so expect them tomorrow (today)!

So is the deadline extended or not?
