All of the increases in the top ten were due to the decline in the Justice Collective's sales (which we all knew would happen anyway) and "Stay" by Rihanna & Mikky Ekko dropping from 4 to 12 in what seems like a very strange start to it's chart run - 6-{4}-12-7-4-5-4-5-8-4-8...

I wouldn't say all of them were, PSY and Olly Murs were definitely benefiting quite heavily from gift cards. James and will.i.am were maybe a bit more to do with The Justice Collective dropping though.

Also, I'm pretty sure that week at #12 was actually Stay's highest sales week

This week summed up in one picture :D

The entire top 5 sold over 90k last year. I can only really see Happy doing that this year. :/

Not really, 25 - 28 will be exciting. :D

Has AC/DC been deleted, as all version have dropped loads in the last couple of hours?

I wondered that too. The top version dropped 12% in one update. I thought maybe it's just because the Xmas number 1 week is over now so the campaign will die off, but even so, that's a massive drop. All other versions have tumbled too. It hasn't been deleted though, I just checked on my iTunes.

Looks like Leona will snag number 2 on iTunes in the next couple of hours. Sam just fell sharply and Leona's in dark green.

The Facebook campaigners made it very clear that the sales stopped counting to the Christmas chart at midnight, so unless a lot of people cannot read at all I doubt it's sold more than a handful since then.
Oh well, it was a successful campaign really. Surely it could well end up top 5 today. I know sales aren't great, but still, that's way better than I imagined it would do.

Yes, but it appears to be decreaasing even quicker than the album version of "Happy" did when it was deleted!

It's been very successful compared to the John Cage and Nirvana campaigns though. RATM is and probably always will be the only 'successful' campaign by that standard :P

Hmm, good point. Although that was behind a decreasing Sam Bailey whereas Pharrell is currently increasing so that could explain some of the discrepancy? (In fact Sam was green in the last update but still decreased 0.05, so Pharrell seems to have got a massive boost from somewhere).

The soundtrack version of 'Happy' is STILL in the feed at #1,057, I wonder if some sales are somehow still going through for it, because otherwise the tracking period on iTunes must be significantly longer than we thought.

I wouldn't say it was all that successful, the point was to block X Factor from #1 wasn't it? :P

It's been successful in a way because it got them their first top 10 hit.

Yes, the shifting base of what 1.000 means on each update will have something to do with it I guess.

That wasn't the point of the campaign though unless I've missed something?

It was partially :P

"Description

In November 2013 AC/DC celebrate 40 years as a band. They've NEVER had a UK Top 10 single, so let's get 'Highway To Hell' to Christmas No.1"

Okay so it doesn't directly say that they aimed to get the band a first top 10 hit but the fact they mentioned they've never had one kind of implies that.

The AC/DC campaign was successful they're in the top 10 after rage tho no one cares about the campaigns as much.

Wonder where Leona will end up in next weeks chart? She will increase until Tues evening then fall away - it should sell enough to be top 40 next week though. Doesn't the no40 usually sell 10k on gift card week ?
