If you Google Image search the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, it is a lot bigger inside than you would think going off that image of the entrance.

I find it surprising that they're not playing the Hydro. Obviously it's a much larger venue than the CA but you'd think they'd have a substantial amount of fans in Scotland to fill an arena?

They basically filled out the SECC - they are much bigger than the Clyde Auditorium!

No disrespect or anything but I find it odd they're playing here:

it is actually quite beautiful on the inside, looked like a London theatre.

it's the capacity that's the problem. and well the other artists that play there. for example, last time I went there was to see Melanie C last year. don't get me wrong I love Melanie C she was my childhood favourite, but she is by no means a current artist and the fact she could sell out The Olympia on a tour when she played <1,000 capacity gigs around the rest of the UK, The Saturdays should be playing bigger venues. The O2 in Dublin is 14,000 which might be too big, but the Board Gais Theatre is about 3,500 and that is more suitable

but they should DEFINITELY come to Belfast and I'm sad they arent

Probably a matter of dates then because if they can fill out the SECC then surely they can fill out the Hydro (and the staging there is adaptable dependant on the artist's requirements).

The issues we have to deal with.

Totto this could be your last opportunity to see them!

Defo going to Glasgow!

Exactly, that's why I was even thing about a Vip one! But I'm not going to do that. I have to go alone though, don't know anyone who's willing to go along.

If they sell out the Olympia very quickly they can always book another night.

Me and my best friend are gonna try and go to glasgow but money is steep atm and I imagine it will be sold out before I can afford :(

Frantically trying to sort out arrangements for this ahead of tomorrow's pre-sale!

Would LOVE to do more than one date but it's not looking likely. :(

If it sells out, chances are a second date will follow - or even an upgrade to a bigger venue. Talking of, what would happen to the booked venue say they upgrade from the Clyde to the Hydro? I'm guessing they've placed a (non-refundable?) deposit, would they just lose that? Or am I talking utter shite?

I would go with the utter shite option
They've said that this tour is not the end - it's the beginning.

Thinking about it, they could hiatus for five years, have their babies and families and come back with fresh new material if this is the beginning!

or they are going to forget this era and move on and crack America
I don't think they'll crack America but they could stand a chance of becoming a little better well known!
Forget America, the amount of time and money they probably spend there could be put to more use here.
If there's more Glasgow date(s) that they've not yet announced, it seems a feasible idea considering there's nothing happening at the Hydro in September until the 19th when Still Game begins.
I think if Dublin proves popular they may add more Irish dates. Something Una would love, of course
Una would have them all dressed at leprechauns
