was just on the phone to The Olympia in Dublin to book tickets for my mum to see Dawn French. I thought I'd ask about The Saturdays. Was told seats are close to sell out but loads of standing tickets left. Do people not like standing? I much prefer standing it has a much better atmosphere. Was gutted we got seats as part of the VIP package and not standing

I think the girls are the sort of act where you enjoy the music instead of getting drunk and party, if that makes sense? So seats would be seated

EEEEK.

I must admit that it's rather poor that they've failed to sell out one show at the moment! I was almost certain they would have sold out the Clyde Auditorium within the first week.

:(

To be fair they didn't do any proper promo for it apart from the daytime shows that nobody watches. And they haven't really had a single to promote it either with NGU being snubbed by radios. Hopefully when Mollie and Vanessa are back in the next couple of weeks, we'll start getting some news for the new single, etc and that'll help sales. If the single does get snubbed by radios, it could be disastrous though.

I walked past Sheffield City Hall today, and they have a poster advertising the tour similar to Wembley Arena's.
I expect all the dates to sell out by the time the tour comes, as there will have been the GH album & a supporting single. Maybe not Wembley Arena but you never know!
Una said in her flip about them wanting fan suggestions for the tour - does this mean singles are likely to be mashed up with another few?

I think they are just meaning running order, costumes, etc...

Those for all Chasing Lights related songs.

These shows do seem to be selling incredibly slowly! There seems to be stacks and stacks of seats left, even in the smaller theatre venues. I really hope the next single pushes sales.

Well to be fair, they don't really have anything promoting the tour. Not Giving Up was never on the radio, barely on TV and they were on Loose Women and This Morning once and spoke about it for like 60 seconds.

It's VERY worrying if they can't sell this tour out, though.

I do think they will need to pull out great promotion for their next single / greatest hits album while promoting the tour at the same time. I expect them to be on the typical shows but a radio promotion and a primetime show will be rather ideal.

I think the order of the songs will work out something like this or similar. I definitely think having 3/5 songs from the Chasing Lights era performed in the tights would be definitely amazing for a greatest hits tour as well as encompassing the OYR era opening with the lift!

INTRO: Lift intro with secretary outfits

1. Notorious

2. Just Can't Get Enough

3. Work

4. Gentleman

CHANGE OUTFIT: Rise up onto stage on podiums in If This Is Love/Up coloured tights (similar to Faster on AFU tour)

5. Up

6. Disco Love

7. If This Is Love

8. Issues

9. 30 Days

CHANGE OUTFIT:

10. Ego

11. Missing You

12. My Heart Takes Over

13. Forever Is Over

CHANGE OUTFIT: Something quite sleek with good dance routines

14. Not Giving Up

15. All Fired Up

16. What About Us

ENCORE:

17. Higher

EDIT: Obviously there are new singles/B-Sides to come so an extra 3 or so songs/variants will probably be added.

Please, no!

Why not? It was used in AFU and I think it would be good to capture a bit of each tour to give it the greatest hits edge.
They would never ever copy the intro of the previous tour with the same song. Plus, I don't think the theatres are high tech enough to have lifts bringing the girls down from the ceiling! The roof would probably come with them thinking about how old some of the buildings are! I like the choice of songs though.

Yeah I don't think they should start on Notorious and end on Higher this time, that's what they did on the last tour so it'd be good to change it up! What About Us for the encore please :D

Possibly true about the roofs there Will  I don't think they should close with What About Us. It's the biggest song of their career but I wouldn't go as far to say it's well known as the likes of "Up" or "Ego".

As for Gentleman opening, that wouldn't be too bad! I also don't want them to do what Little Mix did on the DNA tour and do the same song twice *cough* WAU *cough*<_<
