Jesus Christ guys are you for real? Do you actually think through what you are writing?

We are really LUCKY that they are even still around. A lot of bands would somehow end once a single member has a baby let alone 3. Having 3 years between tours and 2 years between albums is a pretty standard thing in music and it tends to work. The only thing they are ever "sloppy" with is their vocals in their performances IMO. Tour tickets usually go on sale when the album has been released to see if there is enough want for one. I'm incredibly surprised that they have even announced a tour should be happening next year with the sales this has been getting. Saying It should have been announced when WAU was released is ludicrous.

You also clearly don't understand or realise the amount of work it takes to be even remotely successful in the pop industry. These girls work incredibly hard throughout the year. Do a lot of other acts put more work in? Yes but they will/have burnt out a lot quicker than these girls will. Do they take holidays at weird and bad times? Yes they do but at the end of the day it's their decision and they probably do need a holiday after release weeks with the amount of early mornings and late nights you have to do. One of the most tiring things to do is travel and they have to do a lot of that.

But it's not normal to have 3 years between tours is it? At least not for a pop band. If you think about the likes of Girls Aloud, One Direction, McFly, Little Mix - they constantly record, promote, tour every year to keep the interest there, but The Sats just aren't doing that. In some ways, it's good that they do things at a slower pace and it keeps all the girls happier, and therefore hopefully will be happy to continue with the band for longer, but it still feels like there's not enough effort put in. There's nothing ludicrous about releasing tour tickets after a number one single, as opposed to on Xmas day when their album isn't even top 200 and there are no singles in the top 40. Mess.

The ticket sales might pick up, once they send 'Not Giving up' to radios....They can probably call this 'Not Giving Up' tour , as it sounds much more positive, than their album title, that indicates no clear goal !

Exactly. The girls obviously do work, but in comparison to their peers they are lazy as hell. We only ever hear about them on release week of a single. The majority of the year is just silence (except for the girls posting about holidays, Starbucks, walking the dogs, watching movies and posting selfies) and they could be doing so much more. I know they have babies but even before Una was pregnant they never really put the effort in. Other artists promote and release around the world and try make things a success but The Sats seem content with doing the bare minimum.

Touring and releasing albums is the biggest part of being a pop star and it's the reason why they have fans in the first place, to buy their music and see them perform live. They've pretty much abandoned their fanbase with no material for two years (and even then, it had four singles on it, some rejects and a theme song) and now they don't even know when they'll be able to tour and give their fans a chance to see them. Why should fans support them when Little Mix are out there working so much harder, releasing better music and constantly putting the effort in for fans?

Meh. Its so frustrating.

I am sorry but the Little Mix card is frustrating me. They have the power of being on X-Factor and one of them being engaged to the worlds biggest boy group, they don't even need to promo as much whereas the sats have to work ten times harder!

Well they clearly are gonna be announced if tickets are gonna be won for it...
  • 2 weeks later...

BUMP:

Is anyone else quite on edge about waiting for the "early next year announcement" they keep mentioning now it is 2014?

This is like the most drawn out 'tour announcement' in the history of the world.

Probably, the suspense is thrilling yet annoying :3

You make me laugh.

(In the good way, I mean).

But no wonder! :o Una said on that stupid Google Album Signing Thing #311 that tour dates would be announced "soon" and that was like in October. :o

GURLS WE ARE POOR MINIONS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC WE NEED TIME TO SAVE UP OUR MINIMUM WAGES!!!

Lets be honest about it, is it really going to happen? I mean they keep pushing it back every time its mentioned. What are they actually waiting for? A greatest hits to tour at the end of the year feels like the most obvious thing at the moment..

Yay Ross you made it over.. Probably before I posted that in the welcome topic

I'm not really surprised they've not announced it yet. Nobody has any money in January :P

I'm sorry but as most people have established, a tour for LFTW seems far more likely, THEN possibly GH album!

I hope they do manage to tour LFTW but i ain't holding my breath for it! Feels like too much uncertainty.

Agreed but it is highly likely they will be probably later on in the year due to Frankie's extended time off.

Yeah they could and i really hope im wrong! 2011 was far to long between!

I think their argument would be that the were finishing off the headlines tour at the start of 2011 and did the all fired up tour at the end of 2011 so would deserve a break!

However so hyped about the new tour and there is an offer on in the sats online shop so I am HOPING this is a chance to get cheaper merchandise to wear to the tour!!!!

(I am sad and I love the products in their online shop - who wouldn't want a tote bag saying all fired up?!?!?!)

Ahh i never wear merch! i dunno why because i end up buying t-shirts every tour but never wear ha!! Hopefully they wont just base there merchandise around Girls this tour ( i know that sounds sexist) but there is Male Fans!!!

The merch is usually on sale so I don't think it means much unfortunately. Might pick up a bargain Headlines tour tee though!
