She has a big banner at the top of iTunes UK and is under new music near the start, hopefully those help.

That's good news, #71 on UK iTunes currently. Should rise a lot more in the morning with the banner/badge.

Nice to see the album rising up Uk and Usa itunes but, what is troubling is the fact that the UK single I am and the Usa single Thunder are both not in the iTunes top 1500.A hit single needs to be released ASAP in both the Uk and the Usa, or the album will have a short chart life.In my opinion YKMW and I got you are the gems of the album.She may need to release ALS next to get play listed on Radio 1 Uk or Capital FM or for top 40 Usa.I got you and YKMW are the potential big hits of the album, hopefully it happens.

She needs a bit of radio support for Thunder and I Am, plus a video for the latter for the UK. I think the problem is partly that she's not really on the general public's radar unless they search for her. I hope this can do well though as it is a shame.

It would be wonderful is this album does well for her. I remain hopeful she can get a UK number 1 album with I Am.

My CD is out for delivery. I wasn't going to buy it on iTunes as well but have decided to #HelpAHen. It was only £8 for deluxe anyway because I had song of the songs.

 

On the discussion of advert during X Factor, I think they would definitely get their money back. Leona always sells loads when she's affiliated with the X Factor.

Of the whole album there are a grand total of 2 songs I actually like and downloaded, I Got You and Thick Skin. Such a disaster of an album.

I think 'Power' is the best on the album by far and the most single-worthy.

 

Lol annoyingly when you click on her iTunes banner it doesn't show her album unless you swipe for it.

The iTunes banner advertises all her other singles/albums too which is good. Hopefully X-factor use a song of hers in one of this weekend's episode to give her a little boost.

How long does an itunes album banner stay up? Is there a chance it might stay up all week. Also, what is Leona performing on GMA? YKMW strikes me as the song that could give her the best online buzz right now. I hope that's what she performs on late night shows and Ellen. She could also go really ham towards the ending. She held back a bit. Wish there was a small instrumental gap before the bridge of the song, though. It comes so suddenly to me.

 

I wish she could also do some advertising on gay blogs. Queerty is especially good with pop culture stuff. Pitch Perfect 2 promoted on it for almost two weeks before its release.

So far, it looks like Leona could have pretty much just gone with a small PR firm to release the album. Def Jam and Island really need to step it up...tv appearances, international promo - Germany and Switzerland, for example, where she seems to have a start, top 40 radio. So far it almost seems as though they haven't done anything Leona could not have done with a run of the mill distributor and PR firm. They need to step it up big time.

It will stay up all week. They always stay up all week. The only time I've ever seen the banners get taken down before the week is over is when Beyonce dropped her surprise album and she took over all of iTunes.

Wow, that's an epic billboard. I didn't know those could go up. Looks great. I wonder if this Island's way of working around their UK radio kerfuffle. Great move.

The radio kerfuffle isn't THAT bad. She's getting the same support as Stereophonics which is just radio 2 and they'll be battling for #1 with BMTH. Stereophonics chose their single wisely as that is also #40 on itunes with the same airplay at LL.

Well said. Without DJ and Island, Leona wouldn't have been able to to easily embark on a major US radio tour - visiting iHeartMedia, Z100, Ryan Seacrest amongst others. Also, Ellen and James Corden are huge promo slots. People need to start giving DJ and Island the credit they deserve especially after the diabolical treatment Leona experienced at Syco.
