Why do we have to have that as our anthem ever since George III became super popular with the public? Rule Britania sounds so much better.

 

Going "Back To Basics" and "Powerful" songs. She says we can hear it "Soon". Guess she's going back to a Spiritesque direction. :D

That's good. Spirit is her best album in terms of overall quality, so anything on that level would be very much welcome!
She has been busy in the studio with producer Toby Gad, who worked with Beyonce on If I Were A Boy.

 

And although she “doesn’t want to put a time frame on it” Leona seems excited about the new venture so a single this year seems likely as well as the possibility of more acting roles.

She's been working with Toby Gad again. She worked with him for Echo, but none of his tracks made it. Hope it's different this time round. Also, a new single this year would be awesome! There's been a lot of hinting that Leona has a collab single coming up, so fingers crossed. ^_^

I'm getting Echo vibes rather than Spirit ones.

 

Leona has publicly implied a few times recently that Syco didn't allow her to release the music she truly wanted (Spirit because it's her debut and Glassheart because of the Collide mess) but I think Echo was the one album that was truly Leona's work. You can tell she was so proud of the album. The "powerful" "back to basics" descriptions sound far more like Echo than Spirit imo.

Really hope we get something like Echo from her again. I still listen to it now, & I have recently fallen back in love with 'Naked' & 'Love Letter' I always liked them just was never crazy, but now I absolutely love them. I really hope her new album is along them lines Naked/Broken are the best from Echo. :wub:

'Naked' and 'Love Letter' could have been radio smashes and sleeper hits in the US if given the chance. And don't even get me started on 'Don't Let Me Down'. Oh well.
Leona has plenty of 'shoulda/woulda/coulda' when it comes to single releases. Let's just hope her new label and management have learnt from the mistakes of Echo and Glassheart and success of the Christmas, With Love for her next release.

Leona's instagram and twitter has been changed to @leonalewis rather than @leonalewismusic and @Horse_Shoe_Peace. All her music is available on spotify now too. Her new team seem to be on it and I have a good feeling about the next album.

I'm still thinking it will be a Q1 2015 release. Leona doesn't even know the direction of the album yet.
