Absolutely love this, would be incredible to hear this on the new album even though it isn't a new song.

Leona recently did a concert with Joseph Caelleja in Malta and she sounds amazing!!!

Nope, just "La La La". She was filling in for Sam Smith.

 

Leona has a concert coming up in Portgual August 8th. It's going to be a full set list thing, like Rock In Rio she did back in 2010. So we'll get 45 minutes of Leona performing! :D Hope she performs a couple songs we haven't heard her perform live yet or perhaps even a new song? :D

She sounds very good on Titanium but I can't helped but feel sad listening to her now, compared to her old performances. She has clearly done some damage to her vocals over the years and they're not as strong and powerful as they used to be. I watched the performance of she on X-factor singing Stop Crying Your Heart Out and it was faultless but then I watched her performance of One More Sleep and her vocals just weren't as good as they used to be. It seems to be the case with her vocal performances now that they're not as strong and as sollid as they used to be, quite sad really :(

She was ill throughout the whole Christmas, With Love era though so I don't think that's a fair comparison. Her voice sounded good at the concert she did in Malta and the one she did in Portugal. Her voice sounds a bit tired though and that might be because she's been in the studio quite a bit. I'm sure once recording is done and she rests her voice, she'll give us some great performances when it's time for the album/lead single promotion.

I really hope so, but I remember some of the performances in the Glassheart era weren't as strong as she used to be. Fingers crossed they let her voice get some rest because I pretty much live for performance like 'Hurt' and 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' they are her best of her career as well as Better In Time at the AMA's. :wub:

She was actually ill throughout the Glassheart era too. A bunch of us fans were having meltdowns because of it lol She had to go on vocal rest for about a month after the tour finished (she was ill at the start of it too...). Just a rough couple of years for Leona, but her voice is sounding great so far this year. Here's a snippet of "Bleeding Love" she performed at a wedding about a month or so ago:

Her voice sounds really strong in it. So I think she'll be fine as long as she doesn't become ill again when promoting album #5.

I just want some proper news about a single or album date - even if its a long time away!

 

There's no date yet, but lots of stuff is going on behind the scenes. I expect it'll be early-mid 2015 when we'll get the lead single/album. Which I would be very happy with, I'm rather tired of constant Q4 releases. :lol:
