He's been the subject of a fair few pranks in his time but it seems Harry Styles is fully clued up to them now.

 

When James Corden tried to catch the star out on The Michael McIntyre Chat Show on Monday by playing the send-to-all game Harry was all too ready with a quick comeback.

 

Playing the show's send-to-all game, James sent a text to everyone on his contact list to see who replied.

 

James said, "Me and you, lap dancing. Are you in or out? Come on, let's do this."

 

However the not-to-be-fooled-with One Direction star wrote back a jokey reply,

 

"Great, but what is it with you and lap dancing? What happened the last time we did that wasn't pretty."

 

The singer then let on that he was in on the joke, saying,

 

"Maybe we shouldn't bring Max this time (are you playing send-to-all with Michael McIntyre?)".

 

Harry has previously been the victim of similar pranks before. On Nick Grimshaw's Call or Delete game on BBC1 the star agreed to lend £5,000 in cash to a celebrity he barely knew.

 

The game requires a guest on the show to scroll through their phone book and when they are told to stop, they either have to call or delete that person from their contact list.

 

Matt Healy from boy band The 1975, had to ring and prank Harry, who he has only met on a few occasions.

 

Matt began by explaining,

 

"Sorry I've never rung you before now, I was just wondering, this is going to sound ridiculous, I need £5,000 and I'm in Chalk Farm, I know it sounds ridiculous but it is a serious situation, I'm in a phone booth and a bloke is pointing to a picture of Mark Owen, it's actually quite threatening."

 

A seemingly calm Harry replied,

Deadline reports that UTA have bought the screen rights to Anna Todd's work, which spans three instalments and tells the story of "a happy, optimistic young girl" who falls for a "guy with a dark side that is addictive"; a character based on Harry Styles.

 

"Tessa Young is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grades, and a sweet boyfriend," reads the synopsis. "She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Harry, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans."

 

It's racked up 500 million hits on Wattpad, making it a logical choice for big-screen transfer - and now, of course, fans will be desperate to find out who'll play Harry and who'll play the girl.

 

Maybe Harry can play the role himself? Just a thought...

 

For now though, the 1D boys are incredibly busy with their Where We Are tour, which kicks off later this month in Colombia before heading all over the world.
