And where in that original retweet by Zayn did he bash Taylor and songwriters?

The tweet itself basically bashes Taylor and implies that she just wants the money, which if you've read anything she's said, is entirely untrue. Zayn retweeting it was childish and catty unnecessarily.

Does it though? It all it gives is Taylor's opinion and Miley's opinion. How do we know Zayn was bashing Taylor? It just seems that's the conclusion everyone's jumped to.

If Zayn retweeting that image is catty and unnecessary then surely that must make what half of Twitter's population post the same? Surely it's not unjust for a celebrity to make such an observation as well, and for all we know he could be focusing solely on Miley's half of the images. Calvin's just adding 2 and 2 and coming up with 5.

He may be in such a position, but I don't see the harm in him retweeting something like that for others to decipher their opinion on as well. If anything, Calvin's the one who should be thinking about what he's doing for jumping to sudden conclusions about what Zayn may or may not be referring to, and going off on such a tangent. He can of course be considered an influential celebrity also.

 

The only reason it feels like Zayn's everywhere at the moment is because the media can't seem to let go of the fact that he's left One Direction, and that he wants to move on and work on his own projects. The end of his relationship with Perrie did manage to stay quiet for a couple of weeks (as far as I'm aware), until the press latched onto it, so he can hardly be blamed for that coming to light, and everything else is just pointless drivel from journalists trying to bring the $$$ home.

It is all getting a bit James Arthur c. late 2013, int it? As with most behaviour of this nature, in the public eye or otherwise it will come back to haunt him. He'll only be apologetic when all the bridges are burnt down.

Calvin is tweeting to support his GF. That tweet totally misses the point as to why Taylor's music is not on Spotify and Calvin essentially clarified it.

But Miley's quote sits better surely? She acknowledges shes made her money now and anything she makes now is a bonus whereas Taylor (whose probably made more than Miley) has decided she wants to make as much money as she can of her tracks? Making the people who already fork out £10 a month for Spotify to fork out a further £10 for Apple Music. Not an issue for me but I've read so many complaints online about being spending £20 on Tidal. Just curious?

Exactly, Taylor's surely worth a lot more than Miley, even though Miley's riding on the likes of Hannah Montana, etc.

 

I just find it all funny that Calvin decided to go out of his way to argue with Zayn, rather than address Miley regarding her quote.

Did either of you read my post on the previous page? :P Taylor's said she's not done this for herself, but for independent artists who fund their music on their own. Spotify pays very little per stream and independent artists would struggle to earn back the studio/production costs. She's not doing it to make as much money as she can for herself. Zayn will realise this when his own music is out there. This is the point tht the original tweet totally missed.
