:hi: I've made really good friends with this cutey from Uni and i headed out with him last night. Had a fab night and feel like i've finally got a reliable friend to go gay clubbing with *.* he's very very delicious, but we're just friends nothing more so that's a bit of a shame. Hoping my crush for him doesn't develop into anything more serious because that would get complicated and i know the feeling wouldn't be returned from him :(

Oh DEAR. I'm not sure I can relate :kink: tho I always say the minute you "become friends" with someone it later become very awkward taking it to the next level

 

I know there's this little cliche that the best relationships, marriages et al are with someone who is your best friend, however I fail to believe in that and have yet to witness it firsthand oops

 

I say snatch him ASAP in a tipsy situation so that you can use it as an excuse if he doesn't feel the same way, tho why would he not? <3

Well we were both VERY drunk last night and had some very good conversations about life and it all and i thought he kept dropping hints that i'd be coming back round to his after, but alas it wasn't meant to be. The few moments when we did get close didn't seem natural and either he'd back away or we'd start up a conversation again so i know it's not meant to be/he just wants to be friends :( I really like having a new friend to go clubbing with though (because most of my other friends go to straight places only) so it's not all bad and actually quite positive at the moment!!

Gahh that is the worst. Experienced it so badly at times. It's fun when the straight guy has fun with it and lets banter happen, but when they're really closed and off it's upsetting :/ Let me know if you find a solution to dealing with it because i have none.

My solution is that he went to college rather than sixth form so I rarely see him! If only there was a solution :lol:
