I forgot the original release peaked that low! 'Planet Pit' making it as high as #11 seems very strange considering both 'Rebelution' and 'Global Warming' (until this week) missed the top 100 entirely despite all 3 having similar singles success.

Promotion of reduced-price greatest hits albums seems to have resumed as many of them fly back up the chart. The Vamps' EP pre-order makes a re-appearance in the top 100, originally reaching the top 10 when it first came out before I restarted these updates. Another pair of Sound of 2014 inspired EPs entering the top 100, Sampha scraping in after being announced as 4th place (most of his boost has been directed to the single 'Too Much') and BANKS whose position, if any, has not yet been announced.

 

Kid Ink's album climbs into the top 10 :o Cherrypicked songs from it are doing surprisingly decently as well (even beyond the second Chris Brown collaboration). Where did this support for him come from?

Some huge falls today as a ton more reduced-price greatest hits flood into the top 100. Gregory Porter's low top 40 album 'Liquid Spirit' makes a re-appearance after an appearance on BBC Breakfast and BANKS' 'London' EP has an enormous climb to just outside the top 20 after she was announced as 3rd place on the Sound of 2014 list.

 

Kid Ink now the 2nd highest artist album only behind Beyoncé! Only #30 on the midweek update though so he is very heavily download based.
