I'm confused about Beyonce's album. The full Platinum version is on iTunes and you can open it, but there's no usual album price to buy the whole album, just the individual tracks?

I know you can just buy the EP, but it's weird you can't buy the album as a whole. Is it just a glitch? Does the EP count towards the album's overall sales?

Not really sure what's going on with Beyoncé either, I would guess that sales of the EP will chart separately but that is odd that you can't buy the full album.
The platinum album is now buy-able on iTunes. It's £18.99

Do you know if it will be combined with the original, or will it chart separately?

The more expensive full platinum will chart with the original I'm sure. The EP I'm not so sure, surely the rules count it out.

Well it's a separately buyable EP with a different tracklist than the original so it should be charting seperately

I'm pretty sure the EP will chart separately but it's less clear whether the platinum edition will be combined with the original or not, arguably it's similar to the releases by ABBA and Whitney Houston which have charted separately this year in that it's essentially a combination of 2 separately available 'albums'. However I think it'll probably be treated as a deluxe version of the original as it's not being marketed as a double album.

Isn't the rule about bonus material that it can't be "previously available as a separate product"? As the deluxe album and the EP think have been released simultaneously, I don't see any reason the deluxe wouldn't be combined with the original; but the EP would be separated like the U2 one last week.

Top 100 update (29/11/2014, 22:00)

Olly's album not having much longevity on iTunes, whoops - still ahead of 1D though ~ The Coldplay live album at #83 completely passed me by, really not making any impact at all (though it seems to be ineligible for the chart as 'Live 2012' was anyway).

'+' has been reduced to £3.99 again and is STILL getting a big effect from reductions, it was actually top 10 again the other day!

New releases in the top 100:

1. Rock or Bust - AC/DC

4. III (Deluxe) - Take That

5. McBusted (Deluxe) - McBusted

8. Sound of a Woman - Kiesza

9. III - Take That

26. Meet the Vamps (Christmas Edition) - The Vamps

30. Black Star Elephant - Nico & Vinz

33. A Better Tomorrow - Wu-Tang Clan

60. Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1. - Mogwai

63. McBusted - McBusted

Somehow didn't realise that AC/DC were clashing with Take That, not surprised they're beating TT on iTunes but 'III' will still easily triumph overall. Olly Murs' album could drop to #4 behind Take That, Ed Sheeran and AC/DC but should still have good sales. McBusted might get a top 10 album, Kiesza I expect will be a lot lower than she is on iTunes but maybe top 40.

This is the first I have heard of the Christmas edition of 'Meet The Vamps' - low key release or do I just pay very little attention to them?

I expect Ed Sheeran will be no1 album next week.

No. I hope either Union J get it or for Take That to make it another week

Bastille's release is just an EP (and hasn't produced any major hit singles, with the lead single looking like barely going top 100 if that), it'll do well on iTunes but I'd be surprised if it was top 10 overall. Union J should get the highest new entry but only around the same position their last album got at best.
