I think they're more than capable of selling over 500,000+ in the UK for Glory Days before the Brits, with a performance and hopefully a win, that would defiantly give it a great leap closer to the album achieving 2x Platinum after the Brits. As for 'Touch' it's nice to see it's sales rising, hopefully it'll peak back into the top 5, what with the video and should cross that Gold certification in the forthcoming weeks, possibly even a 4th Platinum single for LM?

You're not crazy, but it will rack up much more sales as it's still selling over 30k a week, it has a long way to go yet. :)

Their last few singles have alternated between Platinum and Gold so I'm sure they'll at least keep that run going

Joe, I see u updated the OP with the latest certification from Ireland. Thought you update it only for the UK? I don't really know why is it such a problem for you to update the rest of the certifications? It literally takes just a few seconds. I even collected all of it for you more than a month ago (and then asked you again to update the thread a few weeks later) :

Also, New Zealand changed their certification levels in June '16 : http://nztop40.co.nz/about (in the PDF file it says June '16), and Gold is now 15.5k. Hair was certified Gold in July (https://twitter.com/musicfacts_lm/status/755573365671428096), so the correct number is 15.5k :)

This is one of my favorite threads here and it's annoying to see it not being updated, especially since you do care about sales considering you created another thread for the UK sales to remind people of their success. With girls becoming more global now, the WW sales/certifications should be as important as the UK stats (I know this is a UK forum, but still).

Sorry Big Mixer but it's very rude. Joe does his absolute best for everyone on this forum and keeps it as up to date as possible. There are three mods in this forum; a simple, nice and polite PM asking one of us to include the certifications would suffice. We try our best to keep it updated and more often than not, we read the posts and genuinely forget to update, due to doing various other thigs in life.

But that's the thing, he really does a great job and is very active here. That's why I was annoyed to see him updating the thread and making another thread while ignoring all my posts even tho he ancklowedged them. It takes just a few seconds. My post wasn't intended as a personal attack, my apologies if it came across like one. I just shared my unsatisfaction. Wasn't aware we should be doing that only through PMs.

The 1D thread you are in charge with has only 3 pages. This one has 37 pages and is active unlike that thread. So I don't really see how they are comperable. Yes, as I've said it myself - Joe does a great job, but that's one of the reasons I posted that post. He posts "Updated." all the time in this thread but the thread is never fully updated. I often click on this thread and it simply irks me to see only the UK data updaded, that's why I wanted to help Joe by bringing it to his attention multiple times. My post was a critique and only that. This is now really blown out of proportion. I understand you are friends with Joe and think the right thing to do is to defend him but there is nothing to defend him from. He is often being praised here by you and other members so I don't see why would a critique be seen as a big deal or a personal attack.

I literally focus on the UK sales because I get them sent to me directly and nobody else has access to that information, not to mention the UK is their main market. I think it was possibly Electro Paradise who added that, she created the topic and updates it from time to time.

Great to hear we've got more certifications. I've actually lost count of how many that is now!

90k is good going for 'Oops' at this stage. I'm surprised how well it's doing on Spotify tbh.
