I'm so annoyed that there's no way of finding out much Salute and DNA have sold :( It's been too long since we got an update for those.

I'm not sure actually, it certainly did under-perform a bit though.

Just having a look at DNA's chart history. It was released in the same week as Little Things by 1D and Locked Out Of Heaven by Bruno Mars, which both charted higher. Why on earth LM had a single released in the same week as 1D I'll never know but that's for a whole other discussion.

I think "Wings" continual push backs had a massive part to play in that, it was released on September 3rd 2012 with "DNA" premiering less than a month later. It definitely felt like a rushed single campaign.

 

We got two television performances on T4 and The X Factor and then the single was abandoned quite abruptly, with them opting to perform "Change Your Life" on Children In Need on the week of its release.

 

It appears they got forgotten in the abundance of new releases in Q4 being a new act and all, as well as facing stiff competition from Bruno and 1D. I do think the single went down well with the general public, although it may not be the most remembered, it is one of their more favoured singles.

 

Ugh, I'm so glad I became a stan with Get Weird, I wouldn't be able to handle this level of messiness from their team..

Yeah 550k was the last official figure we were given. SLS is their second highest single though :P

Oh ok, do we trust that source though? 20k seems a lot for it to have sold since November... Hmmmm, I guess it's not out of the question.

 

When LM release their next lead single OCC will probably give us some totals.

Good to finally have an updated figure for Wings. Quite amusing that MTV are still showing the out-dated 'Little Mix Official Top 10' as of yesterday. You know it's very out of date when it has Black Magic's sales at 190k!

Does anyone have any idea how Get Weird performed in the US? I'm guessing it was the lowest seller as we don't appear to have any data, but just wondering if any one knew anything. I'm also curious about Japan.

 

I'm not bothered about them selling bucket loads across the waters as they are a very successful international act regardless, but it would be great to see them shift a few more albums never the less. They can certainly sell the tour tickets, so fingers crossed that's good news for the new era.

Does anyone know what the sales for SLS were in the Philippines? It was number one for a little bit, or was that iTunes only?
