They got so close to 5 but have stopped now. Hopefully it stays top 10 throughout the weekend, there's very little between 5 and 11

Number 8 now due to Calvin's new one (I have a feeling this will slip in the next day or so though, doesn't really seem much of a "hit" to me) and Katy Perry has overtaken (she got made 59p today)

Yeah at #6! I'm confident they'll be top 5 soon too. Or at least Mo will fall very shortly and will manage to boost them top 5!

So was it just the weekend effect do we think? Always seems to benefit during the week more than the weekend atm. Hopefully top 10 is still good for this week, although I imagine we're looking more at #12/#13-ish.

Partly, yes. But also because there's so many 59p songs at the moment and it's not included in the batch unlike Zedd or Julia. At least it didn't fall as fast as Kygo did when they were taken out of the batch the same time!

I didn't realise Kygo had fallen as far 12 out of the top 5. It definitely could've been worse then, although NMSS is in 'Hot Songs' which still displays the 59p tag (altho admittedly it's on the third page iirc) so that may be a factor. Regardless, every time I think it's going to go into free-fall it rebounds. :cheer:

 

Shame about Spotify killing their momentum. How odd that it climbed on Fri/Sat but dropped on a Sunday. However unlikely, I'm hoping it remains 59p this week. It does seem their team themselves are pushing for top 10 given that they kept the discount after the video release.

Yes, I know I said it last week, but I feel it would definitely sneak the top 10 next week if they kept it at 59p, especially if they advertised it again.
