Heard this for the first time today and I really really like it - she's good at releasing different stuff, whilst still somehow not sounding like she's venturing too far away from what feels like 'typical Goulding'.

Not bad, but one of the weaker songs off Halycon Days. Much better than the dreadfully dreary HLWILY though so back on the up.

What is important to the market is she is different. She is cute, shy, normal, ever so a british ...

Actually her doing Dance pop makes her even more different....

How odd - I just noticed I hadn't t/f'd this song (and several others from Halcyon Days) from my library to my iPod.

Now I'm starting to wonder how many others I forgot to t/f...

Ellie has a really nice voice :) really like her material! Solid

So Ellie sang this recently on Graham Norton.

Although I am a big Ellie fan, her life performances can be a bit hit and miss IMO but this was definitely more hit than miss!

I agree - I don't really understand the reasoning behind this choice. There are so many catchy songs on the album that I think could do so much better in the charts. Must be a reason I suppose... And it's certainly not a terrible song.

I've always thought Ellie was quite bad live on a vocal point of view. But that's to be expected because her vocals go through so many filters on the record.

And it doesn't really bother me because she has great energy et is much entertaining on stage. She's a but like Katy P and Cheryl for me, not the best vocalists ever but I really don't mind if the live doesn't sound exactly like the record.
