Knew the charts would be awful without looking, as the only good new song out right now is TImber!! WHo'd have thought Pitbull and Kesha would be saving music 2014, the unlikely saviours of the chart eh!

 

The music on radio right now is old, and I mean 5+ years old, throwaway 2013 pop as someone said, Timber/ Happy. It's really poor. Wish they'd play Beyonce XO more.

 

Gotta say, I'm surprised by the Ke-dollar-sign-ha's sales. I expected it to get to number 1 on 68,000 max, but then again I didn't consider that there was nothing else for people to download apart from Happy.

Incredible that Halcyon has reached #1 so long after its original release, however the album is not as good as I wanted it to be. I think I prefer Ellie's folktronica stuff from Lights.

 

Gutted that Celine Dion has left the Top 40 from #13. :( It was doing so well too! It's a beautiful album, half the album is better than the majority of her singles discography!

Because i'm a big fan of Celine and i thought that her latest album is one of her worst (If "Celine" and "worst" could be in the same phrase..)."Falling Into You" was her best era!!! Every song was amazing.."Loved Me Back To Life" has many boring ballads..Even "One Heart" is better than this..I don't know how old are you but i suppose that you are very young for having this opinion.

I see..It was so overplayed that many people totally hated it..I really love this song but i understand the reason why you don't like it. Her biggest mistake (for me) was her live shows in Las Vegas..She's famous all over the world. She shouldn't stay in a place for so many years..She reminds me the local singers of my country who stay here because they would faild if they tried to make career to abroad. She should promote her songs in Europe. She had very good sales with her last album in U.k and she came once time there for only one interview and two live performances.

I think that 2012 was a great year for albums..9 of the 10 albums were released in 2012 and they are still in The Top 100..One of them has sold more than 2 million copies (Our Version Of Events), one of them has sold more than 1 million copies (Right Place Right Time) and the rest has sold more than 450.000 copies (each one)..I don't think that there will be so many albums (released in 2013) at the beginning of 2015..
