Yeah a music video rate after would be fine! I just did a rate that I knew everyone would participate in to get activity up in here.

I would definitely be up for a music video rate at some point in the future. She's had some truly excellent videos in her career and I'd love an excuse to revisit them all.

I updated the music video thread as well for easy access too! :D.

The cover and HE in general are just perfection, so sexy and he really does it justice. Getting a very good response too so thought i'd share so the Rih fans can listen too~

That's surprisingly good! I say surprisingly because while I did like Hustler to an extent it's not really my sort of thing, but this cover is a very nice chilled out version of Diamonds. Good stuff! :o

They will not be simply listening to Beyoncé and Rihanna for fun or even comparing the roles of Beyoncé and Rihanna in popular culture, rather, students will be studying how the lyrics, music videos, and actions of these women express various aspects of black feminism such as violence, economic opportunity, sexuality, standards of beauty, and creative self-expression. The instructor hopes for students to understand the role black feminism plays in popular culture as well as everyday life.
