The singer said there will be no official announcement of the end of the group, insisting it's "no big deal". Range told Metro the band aren't officially over "but we don't have any plans for anything in the near future". "I don't think there needs to be [an announcement]. It's no big deal. We haven't released anything for a few years and don't have any plans to. Maybe one day we'll fancy doing something. Maybe we won't." Asked how she feels about the band's end, she said: "Great. I was in Sugababes for 11 years. It's amazing for a pop band to last that long but right now it's time for a break from all that. "You think it's going to be all fun and games and you get to sing with your mates every day but it's not like that. It's hard work and you get homesick but I wouldn't change any of it. "There were great days, even up to the end, where we'd perform at amazing places. There'd be other days where you didn't feel like getting up and fancied a lie-in. But most jobs are like that." Last year, Sugababe Jade Ewen claimed the group had ended two years ago, adding: "I don't feel comfortable lying." January 13, 201411 yr It's so obvious this is the end of Sugababes. Bands can announce their split but then reunite and shit two gazillion years later! UGH. Only Jade has some sort of conscience out of the three, it seems.
January 13, 201411 yr Oh lovely. She's just continuing to lie and treat the fans without a shred of decency or respect. They won't be back mainly because they know absolutely no one cares. The reception Freederm got proved that. It wasn't even the top free download on Amazon upon release. They literally couldn't give that shite away! The management sucked all the cash they could out of them, took a step too far kicking out Keisha and when sales vanished overnight they gave up and moved on. For further examples of that see Mutya's solo career, Gabriella Cilmi, VV Brown and many many many more. Fans who have dedicated a decade+ to this brand have the right to some statement. Not that most of those fans actually cared post-Keishagate. Fitting really that the management's final act is to treat the fans with contempt and give them no closure.
