So now it's got a vague release date pencilled in, who's excited for the follow up to 'Velociraptor!'?

According to Digital Spy, Serge has listed Nirvana and Kanye as influences while potential first single "Bumblebee" has a Beastie Boys and RATM feel.

All sounds very promising and with the exception of the second half of 'Empire' they've always delivered.

Can't wait each albums better than the last. If they get it right they could become the biggest band in Britain?!

First single "Eez-eh" premiered tonight. Out in a month, album a week later.

Basically Chemical Brothers' "Do It Again" crossed with "Vlad The Impaler". I think I like it?

Love the new single Eez-eh. Very electro and has lots of energy! Looking forward to hearing the new album. :)

Sounds like Hot Chip produced by Pete Waterman covering George Formby.

It'll be huge...and it'll annoy people who think Kasabian are a "rock band".

At least it's catchy, unlike their output for the last 10 years.

I can't remember liking anything by them since Club Foot.

That's fair enough, but I don't see how that makes their output since not catchy.

"Explodes" is out now with the album pre-order. No decent YouTube clip yet.

It's just basic glam rock. Ok, maybe catchy isn't the word I was after. I'm generally amazed how popular they are though - I think for some they're just a substitute Oasis.

I've never been a huge Kasabian fan but this single is amazing!

I think it could give them their biggest hit to date its just so infectious

If the album is anywhere near as good as Eez-Eh suggests, I will definetly get this

Quite enjoyed this new Kasabian record! By far the best record i've heard recently is Camera Obscura's new stuff. Absolutely incredible!

Eez-eh is pretty awful, thankfully they were on Jools Holland and did Stevie and Bumblebee which sounded a LOT better, and I have all their albums, and they are one of my fave bands, but Eez-eh just sounds like something a kid on drugs would do...
This being their SIXTH record would've been SO MUCH BETTER (48/13 = 6 and all!). DAMN THOSE OCDs

Loving both these new tracks, Stevie and BumbleBee are definitely the Kasabian i prefer....

Like someone said above.. Eeezeh just sounds like a track some 17yr old would write after a heavy weekend on drugs or something.

Bumblebee is the one, defo here the RATM influence....
