Gerald, Dani and Emmett are the only brawns. The latter two think really highly of Hayley as a player from what I've seen in their jury villa episodes. I think Flick would only have Gerald's vote locked in and bitter Andrew's, but will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Flick could obviously get a lot more votes with an emotional final tribal speech and if she wins immunity which is what I think scares George/Hayley the most

Hayley is guaranteed Top 2 at this point. In any scenario, neither George or Flick want to face off against the other in FTC. Flick takes Hayley, Hayley takes George, George takes Hayley.

Flick has had an excellent social game as well as being moderately good at challenges (she's only had one immunity, sure, but she's been a fierce competitor almost every challenge). But above all else the fact that her mother died during filming and she chose to stay in the game to play for her mum essentially gives her the win. Sympathy vote, Brawns alliance, and a great social game gives her 6/9 votes from the get-go I reckon. It would obviously depend on the argument put forward by George or Hayley, but it would be an uphill battle for either of them. Barring his first tribal blunder, George has played this season of Survivor brilliantly. Who would have thought after the very first tribal council that George would even make the merge nevermind be Top 3. He's consistently lied and manipulated his way into the right side of the vote almost every time, he's made big move after big move and his resume is almost unbeatable. If he was in the Top 2 with anyone else I'd say he was guaranteed the win, but Hayley has played a fantastic game also. She knows exactly what she's doing in this game my money is on her. Taking George to FTC doesn't sound great on paper but they've both played very similar games to the point where I am seriously keen to hear both of their pitches because it could go either way.

I personally want Hayley to win and I think she will. Her only major screw up during the tribal council was where she was unanimously voted out and the only reason she had to try and out George for double-crossing the merged Brawns was because of a crappy twist that screwed her over. Yet when she was voted out by everyone else, she fought and clawed her way back up to the top and hasn't even been an option to vote out until last night. She hasn't had Cara to hide behind the whole game either. Last night she got two inseparable allies to turn on each other and she had the definitive vote. Queen.

Prediction for George v Hayley:

Emmett - George (Emmett loves Survivor and loves blindsides/shock votes, George has delivered the most of those for sure)

Andrew - George (He was burned by Hayley and I think that alone will sway him away from voting for her)

Gerald - George (Were allied for a while and Gerald is all about "loyalty and integrity")

Cara - George (duh)

Laura - Hayley (Decent friends, she was not a fan of George at all)

Dani - Hayley (Has already said she'd vote Hayley in FTC)

Wai - Hayley (Incredibly close friends and allies, Wai loves Survivor and recognises game)

Flick - Hayley (Flick thinks she can beat George in final two but not Hayley, she also sees how great her game as been in terms of strategy, social, and challenges)

Baden is the swing vote and I think he could go either way, he was allied with both of them at different times and was burned by both too. It'd depend on their pitches

Prediction for Flick v Hayley:

Andrew - Flick (Andy is here for friends and thats about it, he defected to Brawns after Brains tried to play the game)

Gerald - Flick (Similar to above tbh, sympathy)

Laura - Flick (Laura was close with both but she was becoming more pally with Flick as merge went on, sympathy vote for sure)

Cara - Flick (sympathy)

Wai - Hayley (Incredibly close friends and allies, Wai loves Survivor and recognises game)

George - Hayley (George knows a great survivor player better than anyone, theres no way his vote doesn't go to Hayley)

Baden - Hayley (She played well and he knows it, he also knows that Flick hasn't done a whole lot and most of the time her attempts at making moves have fell way short)

Dani & Emmett are together here because I think either of them could go either way. They're great friends with Flick, Dani especially, and have lots of sympathy for her definitely. But at the same time they're both big fans of survivor and when it comes down to it, Hayley has played the better game. Dani openly said she'd vote for Hayley before but Flick is the only one who she might change her vote for.

George v Flick (No chance this will happen. Both of them think they would be beaten by the other)

Great analysis there! I'm really hyped for the final. Hayley is the ideal winner for me but so tricky to call if she can pull it off. With all due respect to Flick, I would be mad if she won

Both this and Survivor SA coming to an end this week means I've nothing to watch for a few weeks now

Final episode tonight, wow! I’m gonna spoiler tag my thoughts just to be safe:

It seems the jury thought the same as I did  Hayley truly deserved the win and she did play the game excellently in every way. I thought the verdict would be a bit closer and not 7-2 but George really screwed up his jury management after all. His pitch started off strong but, for whatever reason, after lying and manipulating to get his way for the past 48 days he chose final tribal council to be honest to the Brawns instead of stroking their ego. He could’ve said “I dropped out of challenges as to downplay my physical threat” but instead it was “I’m smarter than you so I don’t need to be physically strong”. Also starting the reply to every question with a “Thank you for that question, that was an excellent question. I would now like to answer that question…” like read the room dude

Ultimately I’m happy he screwed his game at the end because Hayley deserves it :cheer:

The teaser for next season looks intriguing too, supposedly Blood vs Water which will allow for some very unpredictable moves come merge (as opposed to the typical tribal lines). And it starts in February! So we’re almost certainly getting two seasons per year now which is amazing. In a perfect world we’d get one season in the outback and one abroad eg Fiji etc to mix it up. But if not I’m still chuffed

Hayley 100% deserved that! First Australian Survivor winner I actually rooted for to win :cheer: George had a raw deal with the jury, and cooked it with some of his responses. He did incredible though and is a fantastic runner-up to a top tier winner!

Overall, very happy with the Final 2! I'm so shocked George made it as far as he did. However, disappointed with the season as a whole. The editing was just awful, definitely a lot of really great episodes, but some dud episodes mixed in. Probably in the bottom 2 as far as Australian Survivor goes, despite the final two.

01 George

02 Hayley

03 Cara

04 Flick

05 Dani

06 Bayden

<<<hot simon who didnt make it to jury>>

07 Wei

08 Laura

09 Gerald

10 Andrew

11 Emmett

Bring on the next season!

Edited by Aaron.

The twists post-merge and the editing especially were awful! The same edits of people carrying logs firewood over and over, re-used confessionals, Hayley wearing 3 different outfits in the same confessional

Hayley and George were great players and perfect top 2. I think Shannon would have spiced up the post-merge a bit as well if she made it

Still no start date however, hopefully sometime soon because The Block is not doing it for me this year.

Celebrity Masterchef:  yay Masterchef is back! Like a nice warm hug.

The only four I knew are Dami, Chrissie, Ian and Tilly.

Celebrity Masterchef: not Thorpey surviving with his anemic looking chicken club with white bread and condiments. That was a new low on Masterchef TBH

Am I the only one watching the new Love Island Australia :selena:

Is it any good? I ducked out after 2 episodes last season, but Season 1 was a smash for me.

I much prefer it to season 2 so far. The boys are all gorgeous and the cast is more ballsy and entertaining

Is the latest season (the one that’s just stated on E4) of MAFS AU any good? I loved the last one but dunno whether to start this one or not ..

If it's Season 7, watch. But Season 8, the latest season that aired in Australia was awful.

Oh god the dramatics on Love Island Australia at the moment

I may try to binge and get caught up once The Block ends... That seems to be eating a lot of my time at the moment. As awful as this season of The Block has been. However I did see a little clip on Gogglebox AU last week. It does already look miles above last season. I was about to give up on Love Island (didn't finish UK and didn't even bother with US) but if this is good I could give the franchise another shot!
