Masterchef Episode 37: phew. What an elimination. Those girls killed it, very happy with that result. Linda killed it with tasting and balancing her dish, if she keeps that up she will go far. Sabina has also proven to be a force to reckoned with. Minoli has been a favorite from day one, I just hope she gets her confidence back.

 

Eliminations have been on point recently.

 

A bit of a bloated flashy trailer over showing any real content, but Australian Survivor has basically blown any other Survivor franchise I've seen out of the water. Can't wait!

Big Brother: i just caught up to Episode 24 and holy. This season is so good. I was shook that Tilly only came 8th, but of course there's some twist so I'm kind of happy about it.

was the person I was expecting the least and my biggest candidate at being 11th and eliminated next lol

Masterchef: really getting down to some awesome cooking. My dream Final 4 is Kishwar, Depinder, Linda and Tommy. Kishwar and Linda specifically have really grown as chefs and have really pushed themselves the last few weeks. Overall I'd love to see Kishwar win.

 

But yeah I was ready for Justin to leave about 5 weeks ago.

I'm team Depinder but looks like she's lost a bit of steam lately, I actually thought she was gonna be eliminated the other day when she had to cook rice and she was like oh I don't have time to read the instructions....

They've been favouring Linda and Tommy for a while so think those will be finalists for sure, sometimes I even think they favour them too much... like that episode when Linda had to do coffee icecream, didn't work, and did ice coffee instead... and it was like a coffee with a cube of ice, come on, any other person do that and they're out, as that's a very very shitty way to make ice coffee, any barista knows that...

Yeah Scott is the weakest out of everyone else by far. My favorite part of last night's episode was them just showing a hissing cat for his video from home. You didn't see him in the episode again until he served some questionable Grey meat to the judges.

He's had zero character development, so he obviously doesn't get much further.

Big Brother: I'm all caught up to the Final 4. This last week and a bit has been INTSENSE. Losing both Tilly and now Danny has been quite disappointing. Tis the game tho.

 

Fantastic Top 4. Can't wait to see who ends up in the Final 3 and who Australia will vote to win.

My bet is Marley will win if he's in the final three.

I'd f***ing love an SJ win, she's amazing.

Ari really did snake his way to the end hey? Brilliant social gameplay. I don't think he has a shot in hell to win, but he played hard to get to where he is (plus, saved by so many twists).

Masterchef: disappointed but not surprised. She never did catch that second wind.

Big Brother Final: Anyone who watched last season and didn't tune in this season should absolutely give this season a go. This is as close to Survivor in a house we will ever get. Strictly physical nomination competitions. You can only survive on your physical ability, or social ability. No where to hide in this game.

 

Danny obviously made the season what it was but there were so many others who made this season a success. Tilly, SJ, even Ari's snake social game was like watching one of the bests in Survivor. As much as I may not have liked them, Jess, Katie and that group... They also made this season such a success.

 

The twists also saved the season several times. It made the gameplay really interesting and really disrupted a very linear process in a great way. They also saved all my favorites more than once too haha.

 

Danny basically getting his own segment in the final. What a king. I have to say, they did a great job with his edit. It would have been very easy for them to show him as a moronic, frantic, lucky gameplayer (and they did at the beginning) but they really focused on his character development to showcase all aspects of his game play.

 

What a great season. I really hope it comes back again next year.

They’re looking for applications for both Big Brother and Master Chef in 2022. So I’d guess they’re both going ahead at this stage.

Masterchef: let the slaughter of all of my favorites begin. I was upset we lost Tommy.. I was hoping he'd make it past a few more people. When Kishwar on tonight's episode said she overcooked the Quail I just about turned off the TV lol. Okay with Sabina leaving however.

 

When's the final? I see Survivor is back on Sunday the 18th.

Another elimination tomorrow too? They really want this season to be done.

In the past the "Final Week" has mostly dragged. I don't think I've ever seen 3 go back to back to back.

Masterchef: the slaughterfest continues, I don't know exactly what happened with Linda on that cook. Shame she was eliminated on Masterchef's fugliest elimination dish to date. She had so many great highlights.

I knew they'd get rid of Linda and Tommy sooner rather than later, they're not fine-dining enough

 

They're sorta favouring Pete a lot in the latest episodes but at least he seems more talented and inventive than the others

What a lackluster Semi Final apart from Kishwar.

It's about the journey, of course. But for Elise and Justin to choke so badly I question their position in the semi finals.

 

If Kishwar or maybe Pete don't win. I'll definitely be disappointed.
