Australian Survivor: Welllll that was really quite good wasn't it.

Sandra and her Daughter arriving like the Queens they are.

This season is going to be so good.

Jury and maybe Late Game: Chrissy

 

The rest I dunno at this point, I don't see Kate rising like a phoenix like Natalie. Blood verus Water is such a great concept tho.

I wasn't so hyped for this but I LOVED the first episode!

 

The whole intro segment felt like a blockbuster movie lol! So impressed with Nina as well! There's lots of interesting dynamics going on and some really intriguing characters this season. Let's just hope we don't get another heavily lopsided edit that's typical of Australian Survivor

KING KHANH holy crap I didn't think he would have such an impact on the game :cheer:

I can't believe he's more of a target at this point compared to Mark, I'm not sure if I see Khanh making Jury at this point... :cry:

Sandra will no doubt be coming for Sam soon after that stray vote she through her way. I must have missed it, but I thought Dave found half a super idol which could only be played with the other person's half?

Kath, I thought the exact same thing :lol: I think we both must have missed something. It must be if combined, it operates as the idol to be used after the votes are read, but separately they must still be a full idol.

 

Honestly I thought that doofus David was going home, even as he was using the idol. I guess that also means Khanh really did tell his tribe about a real idol he has.

I wasn't expecting Khanh to be at the forefront of this game, I'm honestly so impressed - but I think he's going to get voted out here pretty soon.

The editing is getting a bit sloppy already. That episode was 90% Khanh, David and Sandra with a dash of Ben, Chrissy and a few others.

That tribal was all over the place as well, very sloppy (in a very great, entertaining way). I honestly can't stand David and I'm starting to go off Sam a bit as well.

 

I was hoping that vote somehow would flip to Sam, leaving Khanh and his boyfriend Mark.

ABC: Not much I watch here apart from Hard Quiz which is now back.

 

10: Survivor (on now), First Dates Australia moves from 7 to Channel 10. Gogglebox Australia returns in March and there will be another season to air in 2022. There will also be a Celebrity Googlebox this year. Despite a rocky 2021, The Bachelor and Bachelorette will return, as will The Masked Singer. The Amazing Race Australia will return. Not very clear if Celebrity Masterchef Australia will return - but BIG news for Masterchef Australia below.

 

7: Dancing with the Stars: All Stars (I thought they did this already?), SAS: Australia, The Voice and The Olympics. Big Brother returns in Q2 with a new cast and returning favourites from previous seasons on Nine and 10. Big Brother VIP however has been cancelled. My Kitchayn Rules is penned for a reboot and Australia's Got Talent will return. Idol is slated to have a Live return, The Block is secure. Another new show, Apartment Rules announced.

Masterchef 2022 - Foodies Vs Favourites

 

Masterchef is back with returning contestants Alvin Quah, Sarah Todd, Michael Weldon and Season One winner, Julie Goodwin, plus new contenders.

Episode 4 was amazing up until the last 2 minutes. I mean, Sophie becoming completly unlikeable and Sandra orchestrating a blindside in about 30 Seconds and letting everyone else do the work. Iconic.

They do this bloody twist every season for no reason. I hate it so much :arrr:

 

I guess it makes the next episode more interesting. Finally an Amy confessional 🙌 I don't know if that's the right move for Sam but we'll see.

Oh gosh that last episode was intense! Thank goodness for

swap coming up, otherwise Amy would have been next

Idols proving to be much more of a curse this season. I hate how Jonathan seems to be piling on certain players at tribal as if he is trying to swing the vote in the direction he wants

Ugh Sandra got swap screwed before (Game Changers for sure, I can't recall Winners at War though) and it seems like that might be the case again based on the preview :cry:

I could blame myself for not really paying attention, or I could blame the editing with the same confessionals :lol:

 

Still so disappointing, but here for Queen Nina to take over (amongst other favorites I have, this season is actually pretty good!)

Nina getting the "She voted out her mom!!1!" treatment The episode was a bit predictable tbh. The previews seem to be giving everything away now so I'm going to skip them going forward :lol:

Gutted for Amy :( I feel like anyone who dares to make a move this season gets sent home straight away. So annoying. It's a shame because she had potential to be great and she was fun to watch.

It seems like Mark or Sam are winning from the edit so far, or possibly Chrissy

I thought that was the best episode of the season so far (minus the result of course).

Chrissy, I think she's honestly such a refreshing player. I know she knew nothing about this game before coming on, but she's picked up on the social aspect like no other. There's something really authentic about how she's playing and she's not really anyone's target at the moment... but she's definitely calling the shots on the tribe.

 

It was also a pretty good episode for Khanh as well, I think they oversold his physical edit at the beginning but now we're starting to see strategic Khanh. He's in a good position if they win a few more immunities with his Idol and a strong alliance he could easily make it to Jury. However, I don't think losing Amy was good for his game at all. If he touches Sam as retribution for Mark voting Amy out - that would be suicide for his game.

 

Post Immunity Challenge was also very strong, I just think Amy was silly for going to Shay about voting out Jordan. She should have just gone to Nina for the vote and kept Shay out of it. I appreciate the move however, it's just unfortunate it didn't work out.

 

I agree with that assumption too, kath. I'm expecting a Mark, Sam, Chrissy win at this point (and well deserved if they do at this point). There's just so much fodder - I don't see David, Jesse, Jordan or Josh winning at all. They're already playing for their lives in pre-merge.. while the other three are coasting by very nicely.
