July 6, 20222 yr Author Australia must be in mourning after losing Julie and Reggie* pretty much on the same day. Honestly it took Masterchef a hot minute to find their groove this year, I think probably halfway through when most of the Newbies left and Michael was sent home was really when this started to pick up momentum - almost on par with how good Back To Win was. Survivor Australia *POTENTIAL* Casting, Location & Theme for their upcoming season (BIG SPOILERS!!): Apparently it's Heroes vs. Villains with half Newbies. There will be 3x Competitors this season. Names for this season: Shonee (!), Kristie (!!!!!!), Shaun, George, Jordie, Nina (!).
July 12, 20222 yr Author Masterchef Australia: Well.. we have our final 2! I did pretty well with my predictions actually, not sure who I’m rooting for. Billie would be a great 2x Winner, but I also really liked Sarah this year. Tomorrow will be quite the final! Two seasons having returning contestants and those seasons producing two Female finalists. Love to see it. If Sarah wins tomorrow, that’s 3 winners from Season 6. Also, Big Brother also wraps up tomorrow. Brian Dowling must be PISSED that they keep saying there aren’t any 2x Big Brother winners globally. Taras. Wow. King Snake. He’s like a villain from a superhero movie. I CANT BELIEVE REGGIE IS IN THE FINAL AGAIN WITH A PUBLIC VOTE TO WIN. COME ON 2x CHAMP!!!! Imma get SMASHED tomorrow night watching all of this. @1546583957961003008
July 12, 20222 yr Will be watching tonight. Hoping Billie win MasterChef and Reggie or Johnson win Big Brother.
July 12, 20222 yr I like Billie, but didn't she work for Heston after winning Series 7? so having him in the final and her winning off the back of making a dish of his and techniques he uses.. seems a little made for her.
July 13, 20222 yr Author 2 two time winners on the same night. Iconic. The runway in the final (tho cheap) was a nice nostalgic touch!
August 17, 20222 yr E4 are going to be airing the 2020 series of Big Brother Australia. I can’t believe all these international reality series are now airing in the UK and we STILL don’t get Big Brother US anywhere… (I mean I’d prefer Big Brother Canada but given US seems more likely)
August 17, 20222 yr Author Interesting! I’m sure the 2021/22 Seasons would follow. They tried the Celebrity VIP version on E4 but that was cancelled I thought due to low ratings.
August 25, 20222 yr Author    Gogglebox Australia is back! So sad to hear about the passing of Di, she was a staple to the show since day one and they did a lovely tribute for her at the end of the episode. Apart from that glad to see I was right for giving this season of MKR a pass

September 21, 20222 yr Author I don’t think anyone here watches The Block, but the latest episode with Tim and Tyler had me in absolute TEARS.
October 25, 20222 yr Not sure if anyone is watching The Traitors but that’s been pleasantly surprising so far. Really enjoying it.
October 30, 20222 yr Author The Block: How are we already at the end, and this seems largely unfinished? Are they not going to show us The Sheds? The Garages? There were several unfinished rooms from several contestants... where we at with this? Sloppy editing, The Block has always had this problem, but it seems even WORSE this year. Overall, a very poor season. If this is Australias lens on diversity, it's laughable. 4/6 Teams were White, Married with Kids and completely interchangeable. Production, Hosts, even the Labourers had zero diversity. House 1 Tom/Sarah-Jane: Ended up being my favourite team, even tho I thought initially she was annoying AF. I ended up really enjoying both of them, they made this season fun and they did a fantastic job with their house! Hoping they pull out the win. House 2 Rachel/Ryan: She cried the entire time. Couldn't they have replaced the team that did leave with a team that wasn't... identical? House 3 Ankur/Sharon: I have zero positive things to say about them, their builders, how they treated this season AND how they were treated this season. House 4 Dylan/Jenny: I expected a lot more, she cried a lot too and they were both quite miserable to watch. House 5 Omar/Oz: Treated like absolute garbage throughout this entire season - how do you cast Muslims, but have not 1, not 2, but THREE Alcoholic based challenges (for PRIZES nonetheless). With that being said.... I didn't much care for them either? I have more questions about how they were able to accomplish what they were able to accomplish given the challenges they had. Out of all the teams, we saw the LEAST amount of building (if any) from them at all. I can't believe this show is a renovation show, and we saw literally zero renovation from them at all. Really, for me. A clear winner for this season. It was a chore to watch, but I loved the Treechange/Rural element. I think this season just flopped because of the Casting and poor editing. I'm glad it ending. I do however think Dan's time on the show should come to an end. It was great to see a former Contestant become a 'Fore-Dan', but he was all over the place this season. Not sure if anyone is watching The Traitors but that’s been pleasantly surprising so far. Really enjoying it. On my watchlist! Just waiting for The Block to wrap up and I'll give this a go.
November 4, 20222 yr Author The Challenge Australia begins November 14th, cast list a few posts above.
November 4, 20222 yr I think you’ll enjoy The Traitors. It’s been a surprise hit for me. It’s kind of been like big brother without the physical challenges and crazy antics. Just cash changes and strategies. Edited November 4, 20222 yr by Run_For_Cover
November 6, 20222 yr Author The Block Auction: I still cannot get over how unfinished everyone left everything. Sharon/Ankur didn’t even finish their Shed? But not only that. EVERY. SINGLE. TEAM went over budget. However, not quite sure forgiving the overages to not impact reserves was the right call. So disappointing. If only they had a realistic budget this entire time. It makes the production of this show look like an absolute joke. OH MY GOD AUCTION #1. How have Omar and Oz somehow pocketed $1.5 Million. THIS IS NOT A $5.6 MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE WHAT IS HAPPENING. Ugh. I’m just flabbergasted. Tom/Sarah Jane - $4.1 Million?! Something really weird is going on. Perhaps they messed themselves up with the Auction Order. But wow. My faves, somehow only profited $20k where Omar/Oz profited $1.5 Million?! The rest of the Auctions weren’t worth mentioning as they were all passed in, it doesn’t seem anyone had any buyers at all. Why do we keep seeing Nicole and Frank at the auctions? They haven’t bought a house in years. Production likely in crisis, they can blame the Housing Market, Supply Chain etc. But the reality is, these were all half baked houses that looked completely incomplete and the Auction results (bar House 5) complements this. The tasks they took on was too big for the timeframe and budget the contestants were given. I’m floored at that auction, it’s usually my favourite night of the year and we’ve had some AMAZING auctions throughout the years. Final Results: Omar & Oz (House 5): Sold for: $5,666,666.66 / Profit: $1,686,666.66 Rachel & Ryan (House 2): Sold for: $4,249,000.85 / Profit: $169,000.85 Tom & Sarah-Jane (House 1): Sold for: $4,100,000.99 / Profit: $20,000.99 Houses 3 & 4 did not sell at the auction. Danny bought all three houses that sold, and has already stated he overpaid.
November 7, 20222 yr Author @1589503145935339520 Good News: they’re in SAMOA! Bad News: doesn’t start until January.
November 13, 20222 yr The Traitors has now finished in Australia, it was very enjoyable. Hopefully it’s back next year.
November 14, 20222 yr Author The Challenge Australia: very cute! It’s basically just the CBS Challenge filmed in the latest Challenge MTV House. Looks good. Looks messy as well. That first elimination was surprising. Cyrell needs to go soon please. Episode 2: that elimination was AMAZING! Love a close call. The episode was very good as well. Definitely more of an MTV feel. December 1, 20222 yr Author The Challenge Australia: very cute! This has been cancelled by Channel 10 after 6 Episodes, the remainder of the season will air On Demand. Disappointing, because this was actually pretty good. Good intertwined relationships between the majority of the cast. Good drama and eliminations so far. It definitely felt more like an MTV version of The Challenge as well. A few of you may also have seen The Traitors has been picked up by BBC and is airing its own version now as well. I'll need to watch the Aussie version soon - I've heard great things across the board!
