January 8, 20241 yr Author Masterchef Australia - Dessert Master: so this aired late last year but I just got around to watching this now. Very good! It’s only 10-Episodes so easy breezy watch. I highly recommend watching this because of the cast. Adriano Zumbo I was surprised was only a contestant and not the host - but that’s because they landed Amaury Guichon. Kirsten Tibballs and Anna Polyviou also join a handful of others. There are also two other returning Masterchef Contestants. If you liked Masterchef AU definitely give this a watch.
February 4, 20241 yr Season 2 Traitors was amazing and hilarious, best Traitors show so far. Why? Cos as the series progressed I kept saying to myself, "they are so dumb, so gullible none of them deserve to win," it was hilarious. Every single person who spoke out against Sam got immediately attacked by him and the sheep all attacked the new victim cos he was a "traitor catcher", oblivious to reality. Anyone that good (and he only "caught" one traitor who totally fingered him for it ep 2) would have been murdered right away. It highlights people's herd mentality in general, even professional crook-catchers inability to tell who's lying to them straightfaced and people's tendency to jump to conclusions at the merest bit of gossip. The ones who should have won were Luke and especially Annabel who was totally switched on with observing body language and behaviour and using logic - which everyone promptly ignored and forgot soon as Sam came up with his usual "blame everyone else" attack strategy as his ego ballooned into the size of a gas giant planet, which was his ultimate downfall. The finale was fab, everyone got what they deserved thanks to switched on Corinne not fooled for a second by the backstabber doublecrossers Sam and Blake. She knew she was never going to win anything without a faithful in the final, so it was a hilarious result when they all got nothing, so richly deserved, and Sam's reaction was so predictable, blame her, attack her whining "I deserved the money", and Blake blubbing away at losing the money. The right result! And now no other future Traitors will ever let 3 Traitors get into the final cos they know they cant trust each other, hah. It'll never happen again, totally.

March 24, 20241 yr Author @1771899867817783557 I’m A Celebrity Cast for 2024… and yes, that’s Skye from Big Brother 11!! (Ryan/Priya’s Season) And KHANH!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I may actually watch this year!
April 23, 20241 yr Author Masterchef Australia is back! Just watched Episode 1. I guess this is really the 3rd era of Masterchef AU. I miss Jock. I guess my biggest feedback was why they felt it appropriate to introduce 3 new judges, a fresh batch of contestants AND Jamie Oliver. It should have just been the Judges and Contestants for the first week, bring in the guest judges later. There is just so much going on. Loving: Khristian, Nat, Savindri Concerned with the lack of diversity this season which is unlike Masterchef AU. Just a slog of boring white men.
April 27, 20241 yr Author The first two episodes felt so bloated with new Contestants, Judges.. but the last two episodes have been 10/10. Absolutely LOVING: Nat, Savindri, Stephen, Sumeet They are 100% my Top 4 this season. Stephen initially I was like "who is this crocodile dundee goofball" but my word. He's like my Declan 2.0 I really underestimated him. Sav and Sumeet tho I just want to jump into the television and eat their food. What an amazing start.
May 7, 20241 yr Author @1787866829274099844 Randomized RTV Couple Alert. I had zero idea they were together.
May 26, 20241 yr Author :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: the Returning Twist FINALLY Returns to Masterchef Australia!! Thank god because Snezana was cut WAY too early, and in fact I completely disagreed with her elimination which very rarely happens in Masterchef Australia. Quite fluid with my favourites this season as well. Nat is just too chaotic to root for  I however am still loving Sav and Sumeet. I need Harry out ASAP he's likely going to end up as one of my least favourite Masterchef contestants. Lachlan as well, hot mess express. Stephen ended up going out at the right time. I had high hopes for him but he wasn't able to keep up with the standard of the competition. Everyone else just seems to be falling into the background. Who the f*** is Sue?! Mimi and Gillian as well, they've had one or two good cooks but every other episode they are impossible to find. If it's not Snez who returns, I hope it's Juan or Lourdes. They need to stop shoving these terrible men down our throats however (probably one of the worst seasons on male casting) I just need the women to run the rest of this season.
May 29, 20241 yr Author OH I CALL BULLSHIT sav eliminated im devastated. This may actually be the first season I don’t finish I hate everyone.
July 1, 2024Jul 1 Author Masterchef Australia this season had a very strong mid-season, but everything after the Final 10 has been a DRAG. I have to say this is probably one of the weakest Top 10s we've ever had. We're at Top 6 right now and I'm still wondering how a few are still around.. my preference from here on out: Winner: Sav - It would be exciting for a chef who was eliminated to win the first season that Poh is a judge. With that being said Sav has had a few close calls since returning to the competition. I need her to keep her head down and pull out the win. Runner Up: Mimi - she has the momentum like Elena and Diana after being invisible the first half of the season. Alas, I don't think her potential quite reaches that of Elena and Diana. If she can pull up her socks these last few weeks I could support a win. 3rd Darrsh - I actually think he has very little idea what he's doing. He attacks each cook with the same confidence. He presents his dishes with the same confidence every time. 4th Harry - I think he's probably going to end up winning. If he could pull off a Ben and just cook fish from here on out, he will be at the end. He's the opposite of Darrsh however, he's learning from his (many) mistakes and I think he has what it takes to pull out a win, unfortunately. 5th Nat - She peaked that first week and ever since it's been a chaotic mess. She's the most creative and innovative but I think her lack of experience will get her chopped soon. 6th Josh (Pesseaugh) Perry - OMG HOW IS HE STILL HERE. HOW DID HE MAKE TOP TEN. HOW DID HE MAKE TOP FIVE. Honestly, every cook he's just managed to NOT be the worst. The judges are eating him up, I'm really worried. Do they honestly not see it? Honestly I'd replace 4/6 with eliminated contestants. Unless Sav or Mimi wins - I just. A Harry win is tolerable I guess.
July 9, 2024Jul 9 Author Colour me shocked that Harry was out 4th. Especially on a dish designed for him. He was my pick to win (not my fav) so this opens things up a bit more. My preference: Winner: Sav 2nd: Nat 3rd: Pesseaugh Ugh I still don’t know how Josh made it this far. He was just, not ever the worst on elimination days. The judges have told the other contestants to pull up their socks.. but not Josh? The reception to the first 2/3rds of this season was great, one of the best seasons in the new era.. but that opinion changed quickly during Top 10. Just bloated overall. The pace at the end has been excruciatingly long.
August 6, 2024Aug 6 Author The Block Australia returns next Monday. Gogglebox Australia starts next Tuesday. Dancing With The Stars AU is 5 Episodes in so far, I saw that Hayden and Julie from Masterchef AU are on this. Masterchef Dessert Masters Season 2 is forthcoming as well, I’ve seen Darren Purchase, Emilia Jackson and REECE HIGNELL (!!!!!) are taking part. Surprised we haven’t heard word on the next Australian Survivor - should be airing soon!
September 16, 2024Sep 16 Author @1835507845300707587 Big Brother Australia returns to its original network! Sounds like they want to go back to basics (Public Vote, Eviction). Also: upfronts today, Masterchef Australia is back next year (of course) doesn’t sound like any changes to the Judging panel, but next season will be Back To Win 2 :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I'm surprised they're doing another Returnee season again. Even if you don't count Season 15 with 1 returning contestant, we've already had 1 Back To Win AND a Half-All Stars season in the last 4 years. Edited September 16, 2024Sep 16 by Aaron.
September 20, 2024Sep 20 Author Masterchef Australia Back To Win 2 Desired List: Season 1: Justine Schofield Season 1: Julia Jenkins Season 2: Marion Grasby (Non-Negotiable) Season 2: Skye Craig Season 2: Courtney Roulston Season 3: Mat Beyer (Should have never been expelled) Season 4: Kylie Millar Season 7: Rose Adam Season 8: Harry Foster Season 10: Honda Kobeissi Season 11: Nicole Scott Season 11: Simon Toohey Season 11: Steph De Sousa Season 12: Kishwar Chowdhury Season 15: Declan Cleary Season 15: Robbie Copper Season 15: Theo Loizou Season 16: Harry Butterfield Season 16: Khristian Walker Season 16: Lourdes Leschen Season 16: Savindri Perera Season 16: Snzana Calic Season 16: Sumeet Saigal My completely unstructured list of contestants I would like to return for Back To Win 2. Not balanced at all, I just went through each season and see who rang a bell to me. Unlike Big Brother and Survivor I have a hard time recalling many contestants and seasons. I likely think a few names I have on the list have had 2nd chances. I started putting Winners on this list before I remembered it was a “Back to Win” season. Mat (Season 3) should have never been kicked out, he deserves another chance. Outside of Dani, Hayden, Kate, Michel and Kumar I don’t remember this season at all. Undoubtedly we will get more than 1 contestant from Andy’s season. Season 5 and 6 I couldn’t recall anyone to bring forward. I really need to go back and watch more of Seasons 4 onwards again.
November 11, 2024Nov 11 Author The Block Australia: I didn't watch last season, I didn't watch this season, but I will never miss a Block auction. Seems like I wasn't missing out on much, drama central. Even them trying to pick the Auction order was painful, it took almost half an hour! The Auction itself was worth it, as it always is. Some fantastic results, some really great looking properties. Kristian & Mimi, Ricky & Haydn and Maddy & Charlotte really stood out. Impressive result, winners took home $1.65M until you find out it was just one buyer for all five properties. What happened to this show?!
March 18Mar 18 Cast for MasterChef Australia Series 17 (Back to Win) now announced...Not Laura, Callum and Sarah being back for a third time 😂Good to see some old faces return, way too many returning from Series 15/16 though - way too recent. Edited March 18Mar 18 by ElectroBoy
