January 15, 201412 yr People check out a song called Glowing by DA. it should be playlisted soon. Fearne Cotton has been playing it since before Xmas and I downloaded it. I just seen in MW it's not got a release until 10/3, sounds like Elton John!!

Quite amusing to see them demoting Will.I.Am, I wonder if that will become a more common occurence. Thermo I think you've made a mistake with Avicii though, you've dropped him but according to the R1 website he's still on the A-list!

Demoting only ever happens when a song has its release date pushed back, so it will only become more common if release dates being pushed back becomes more common.

Are you sure this happened for 'Video Games'? As far as I can see, that went INMWT-C-B-B-A in Sep 2011, I can't see any evidence of it being demoted and then re-promoted.

As far as I can see, that went INMWT-C-B-B-A in Sep 2011, I can't see any evidence of it being demoted and then re-promoted. I was pretty sure until you questioned it - just searched for Radio 1 threads of the time 'Video Games' was released and I see no sign of it moving down before moving up, though funnily enough I accidentally came across Skylar Grey moving down :lol: Thread is here. It's possible I was thinking of Lana moving down on Radio 2, or just something else altogether.
January 16, 201412 yr Yea happened this week on radio 2 with Bruce Springsteen High Hopes. Happens quite alot because its not chart based on radio 2!

Skylar Grey was on I need a Doctor which was one of radio 1s most played recurrents over the past 2 years its still played these days!
