I just think with Nile she's been there and done that, of course if she made music with him I'm sure it would be good I don't doubt that for a second. But I just want the madonna that had the new direction underground producers kinda thing.

Madonna reveals she is recording new tracks with Avicii

Madonna has revealed that she is working with Avicii.

 

The 55-year-old superstar made the announcement via her official Instagram.

 

She captioned a photo posted this evening (March 7): "Doing some house work before heading to the studio with Avicci! (sic)"

 

The 'Hey Brother' hitmaker has yet to collaborate with any other major artist, but was credited on Leona Lewis's single 'Collide' after claims of unauthorised sampling were settled with label Syco before the case went to court.

 

Madonna first confirmed that she was working on a new album back in February.

 

"Yes, plans are in the works already," she told The Canadian Press. "Don't ask me with who - it's a secret. Top secret."

 

The upcoming LP will serve as a follow-up to 2012's MDNA.

 

The singer recently performed a duet with Miley Cyrus as part of the 'Wrecking Ball' singer's MTV Unplugged session.

 

The pair sang a mash-up of Madonna's 2000 single 'Don't Tell Me' and Cyrus's 'We Can't Stop'.

 

This could be good if Avicii continues to makes music that's quite fresh sounding rather than making something like David Guetta's recent efforts.

I can't help but think of jumping on the band wagon again, however the Girl Gone Wild avicci remix was excellent so here's hoping.

 

Madonna also said she was working with David Guetta once and it turned out to be them working on Revolver remixes.

To be fair Avicii hasn't worked with mainstream artists he has been big in his own right !

 

I like him but agree that she should be on the hunt for the next big underground producer

Maybe it could give her another top 10 single after her last comeback single flopped in at #37.

Yes and I prefer MDNA to them all, RoL especially. I find that dull.

I don't mind so long as the VOX aren't as bad on this one.

I hope she's taking up a few vocal classes. She sounded incredibly nasal at The Grammys and the MTV Unplugged with Miley.

There's a rumour that Madonna is recording for Avicii's soon to be repacked album True.

Maybe she will get another #1 single after all, if that's the case!

If that transpires not to be true, she'll probably just jump on the bandwagon two years too late and collaborate with him like she tends to do lately.
