The stand-out stars at the moment (and have been for a long time now) are Tim and Sally! I think I've said it before - but Tim brings out the best in Kev too! Kev was never this interesting first time around!

I definitely agree, Sally has been quite funny for a while now but she's gold with Tim! Tim and Kevin are great too. I don't really mind it being slow in one way because Sally is hilarious :lol:

Friday's Corrie was on form :wub: loved it, first time in ages! Didn't even mind Sean's scenes which is odd, Sinead coming out the house for the bus tickled me too. I wish this Diane would be permanent, even I want to be her mate.

Corrie's viewing figures dipped to 4.9m last night, which I believe could be the lowest ever in the time that BARB has collected figures! :o

Anytime they give Sean a storyline it's like they realise how crap Anthony Cotton is and just don't bother!

 

I'm dreading ANOTHER Platt family Christmas...there are other families in the show, I really wanted last years to focus on Hayley and Roy but instead we got more David/Kylie and other stuff

 

I hope Corrie can turn itself around soon as Eastenders is doing then I'd go back to watching it properly, not watching it on demand and fast forwarding the worst bits!!

Re: Nazirs, I quite like Yasmine :lol: The actress isn't exactly Lacey Turner or anything but she's quite funny in her way. Alya isn't bad either, I just think she's one of those characters who needs a decent story but she probably never will. Cal is a bit shit though and Zeedan is like a moody 12 year old like "shut up dad you don't understand me!1!1!".

 

I'm just sat cringing at Sean's bloody date though.

The Tim and Sally relationship is brilliant and the best thing about the show, the interaction with Kevin works brilliant as well.

It feels as if they're only there to show some racial diversity and it's assumed that's enough of a reason for them being there, when the case is they need to actually be interesting too.

They are so bloody pointless I even found myself engrossed in Sean's comings and goings in comparison!!! TBF - I have a slight confession regarding Sean - although I can't stand the actor - I do think he comes out with some funny things now and again - him and Eileen are pretty good together!

Haha! But yes that is true of Sean. He works better as a supporting character I find, particularly, or at least a few years back when Janice and co. were still in the show, with the Factory scenes.
