Since when was Amy such a cow?

It has been happening very gradually but only really obvious last night. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it?

The kid who plays Max has to be the worst child actor I've seen for a long time. Surely Corrie could have managed better than this!

I read an interview with Jack P Sheperd in a tv magazine last week where he said he's been helping the child with his lines and how to act them and how great the kid is...this coming from an actor who's only ever got one facial expression and one tone of voice

I know that's probably harsh but I can't stand the character and his obsession with saying his kids names every other episode or the actor but that's just my opinion!!

Tracy would be so much better if Kate Ford was able to act.

I've learnt to overlook Kate Ford's acting because I think Tracy is one of the most entertaining characters! She does have her moments and comes out with some of the funniest lines.

Bloody hilarious last night with the Barlows hamming it up! Deirdre's neck veins certainly went into overdrive!!

"How could you... NAAAT TELL MEEEEE!!!"

That was brilliant, watched it for the first time in AGES last night just for Ken's return. It's still terrible though, had to fast forward all of Kylie & David's scenes, not arsed about that foul child.

I was in fits at "SHUT UP KEN. SHUT UP"

The kid's ADHD storyline doesn't interest me either.

Remember when Deidre could actually act?

In all honesty - no. I really love the actress Anne Kirkbride but I don't think she's ever really stood out as a good actress. She has had fantastic comedy moments and a great wit (even in the early days when she was the sex-pot of the street) but I've never noticed her stand out in serious moments. Of her romantic relationships - her acting with Neville Buswell (as her first husband Ray Langton) was, for me, the most believable (much more convincing than her relationships with Ken, Mike, Samir (or even Dev - but at least that was a laugh). The character of Deirdre, for me, really came to life when Blanche came on the scene (second time around) and now that the wonderful Maggie Jones is no longer with us - the writers are doing a great job with the Deirdre character in almost turning her into a Blanche for our times!

I can't stand seeing (or hearing) Deirdre cry - its the most unconvincing cry ever. I much prefer her bragging about her signature dish - the stuffed marrow!

I want her to do more pottery too, then I may watch the show again, I don't think there is a worse actress at crying than her who plays the foul Andrea.

Yes - she does throw a mean pot!

She's reportedly been offered a 250k new contract. Yet when Ken went away she was supposedly offered a contract for the rest of her life so you don't know who to believe.

Regardless of what I think of Anne Kirkbride's acting abilities - she definitely makes a positive contribution to Corrie - and the character of Deirdre is brilliant.

Tonight should be funny as Kirk hides the ring in Beth's kebab. What could possibly go wrong?
