Regardless of what I think of Anne Kirkbride's acting abilities - she definitely makes a positive contribution to Corrie - and the character of Deirdre is brilliant.

 

 

I agree Kath, Deidre is great. She'll be in it until she dies along with Emily and Rita.

I didn't see her on it myself but I read that Sharon Marshall said on This Morning it wasn't happening until January next year.

They must have postponed it then cos I read it was to be shown in October.

Thought I'd give this show another chance, pretty much enjoyed Friday's bar the Max scenes. The story of Tracey's lamp in the skip was hilarious so credit where credits due.

 

Just started Sunday nights and where the hell has the church come from? Pretty sure I've never heard church bells on the street before?

 

Also, does Ken actually know Hayley's dead?

I know, it was like a gathering for some of the worst characters or actors in the show to give them a storyline...I like it when Corrie does the light hearted stuff sometimes but I was bored watching this

 

Please please can they get rid of Dev, it's painful to watch him on the show and the character had no purpose what so ever

The cricket storyline is painfully terrible, the sky plus forward button is fabulous when this kind of rubbish airs. I can do nothing but agree about Dev,painful to watch is the nicest thing i can about his acting skills and delivery.The cricket storyline just provides room for drunken scenes and an excuse for Steve and Dev to smoke their big fancy cigars as they have done in the past.

 

The Peter,Carla, Rob storyline is fine, i am looking forward to Peter clearing his name and Rob getting found out,Tracey reaction should also be worth a watch.

Cilla's back soon and apparently is as mad as ever and doesn't get such a good welcome.

I welcome the return of Cilla, i liked her on her original stint. Her return appears mixed from fans of the show.

Mary's mother needs to make an appearance.

Cilla was OK at first but boring towards the end. I can't see what she'll contribute to the show.

 

I'm only watching for Deirdre at the moment.

FFS, the Andrea and her ex stuff is dragging on and on and on and on and on. It's the same crap EVERY episode. He turns up, acts irritating, Andrea shouts at him that it's over, Lloyd gets angry, repeat.
