January 26, 201411 yr Author Is Beatport like an iTunes clone for dance music or what? I've heard the name a lot but never actually known what it is. Yes, except songs are priced way too high (£1.73 for exclusives, £1.30 for recent tracks and £1.12 for older songs) so I don't actually buy songs from there (YouTube and Spotify exist for a reason!) plus it's an international chart. I doubt it's responsible for much UK sales, for example Duke Dumont's 'I Got U' is top 10 on beatport but it probably won't chart until it's out on iTunes as most people are either unaware of beatport's existence or would rather wait to pay 99p than pay £1.73

February 2, 201411 yr Author YES for David Guetta keeping that #1 - I do love the Bassjackers/Garrix collab but it's no Animals, whereas Shot Me Down is amazing. Also nice to see Dyro getting another top 10, although I thought Sandro Silva would do better than #26, it definitely deserves it. :(

February 19, 201411 yr Author Helicopter by Martin Garrix & Firebeatz is already #8 after 2 days on sale, I think that'll be the next #1. Hopefully 'Gecko' and 'Waves' can be future UK chart smashes :heart: I love both of them a lot right now. I have a feeling that they'll need to add a vocal to Gecko for chart success though, I just hope it's not a rap - that would ruin the song like with what Tinie did to Tsunami.
