Alonso first on first free practice, Hamilton on second free practice. Fingers crossed for Hamilton's domination :D

Hamilton on pole for the race in wet conditions. Kevin Magnussen in an impressive fourth place in this first race. Vettel 13th which was cheered by the Australian fans.

OK race in Malaysia.

Hamilton wins for Mercedes with Rosberg second. First Mercedes 1-2 since Italy 1955 before they pulled out of motorsport due to Le Mans.

Ricciardo had a nightmare race which wouldn't be helped in China with a 10 place grid drop for unsafe release.

Massa refusing to obey team-orders at Williams.

Also well done to Kyvat in the Toro Rosso for scoring in his second race in a row. Points in his first 2 races.

Grosjean managing to complete a race distance for Lotus.

Grosjean finishing was fab news!

Getting a little sick of Red Bull bitching at Renault in public. Jesus have some dignity ffs.

On we go to Bahrain this weekend which will be a night race for the first time celebrating its 10 years as a Grand Prix venue.

Live on Sky Sports F1 and highlights on BBC at 9pm for qualifying and 10pm for the race.

Expecting Mercedes to be quick again.

Williams has appeared to sort out their team-orders row from Malaysia where Massa refused to let Bottas past.

Sergio Perez has labelled F1 "boring".

Hope Bahrain is a good race.

That was one of the best races I think I've ever seen, so much close racing with several teams very close together. What made it even more exciting was the racing between team-mates, in particular Mercedes, Force India and Red Bull and as a Force India fan, I'm so pleased with 2 Force India cars in the top 5 including their first podium since 2009 and only their 2nd podium as Force India!

Fantastic race and I'm very excited for the next one!

Maldonado has been given a five-place grid penalty for this collison with Gutierrez.

What a race, Bahrain was.

Easily the best Bahrain Grand Prix there ever has been.

Well done to Force India on their second podium with Perez finishing third.

I don't think he'll find it boring now.

Red Bull has lost their appeal against Ricciardo's disqualification from the Australian GP.

Will it be 4 races out of 4 for Mercedes?

Again China will be live on Sky Sports F1 with highlights on the BBC in the afternoon.

Which Mercedes driver will win? Rosberg or Hamilton.

Can anyone beat Mercedes? Red Bull?

Also will Force India continue their brilliant form in China and follow up with a podium again?

Could be wet for qualifying on Saturday and dry for the race on Sunday according to the weather forecast.

Elsewhere:

It looks like there'll be a new F1 team in 2015 as Nascar's Gene Haas has had his entry accepted by the FIA for 2015. Will they be on the grid or another USF1?

'Haas Formula' could be on the grid next year.

They want to run Haas Formula out of North Carolina, which is ridiculous. The talent and expertise is in Europe, well the UK, and being that far away from the motorhome races is not going to be ideal for them.

RIP Aryton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger

20 years to the day since that dreadful crash that killed Senna in Imola. And the darkest weekend in the history of Formula One. And the last driver fatality in F1.

Ratzenberger's former team-mate David Brabham said yesterday why there isn't a tribute for Ratzenberger at Imola.

The former Ferrari mechanic behind the 2007 "Spygate" scandal, Nigel Stepney has died in a road accident aged 56.

He was known for leaking Ferrari information to McLaren in 2007.

He was injured during a pit stop at the 2000 Spanish Grand Prix when Schumacher was signalled to depart whilist Stepney was still detching the fuel rig:

Another chaotic race in Monaco.

Well done to Rosberg for winning his second Monaco Grand Prix in a row first person to win two straight Monaco races and lead every lap since Senna in 1990/91.

Also well done to Marussia and Jules Bianchi for scoring their first ever points with a 9th place finish. Thanks to the retirements and the collision with Raikkonen/Magnussen.
