January 27, 201411 yr i don't think any of the wanted songs were truly special. sure i listened to them on the radio, but i never once even had the thought of buying their album or anything and i agree, debut single is the best the fact that wanted are splitting up is no skin off my nose really. it's not like i was their biggist fan
January 27, 201411 yr Based on how they all came across on The Wanted Life, Nathan does have a bit of an ego on him tbh. Siva and Jay are the ones that came across as the most down to earth and unassuming.
January 28, 201411 yr I hardly think so. I would think if they were trying to mould themselves into being a carbon copy of One Direction they would have gained a fraction more of the support than they actually did have with the album campaign. They are still trying to find their own identity - their music is far from being exactly the same as One Direction's, they just need something secure that the UK will latch onto properly and will get them a decent-sized hit single and a good selling album. We'll have to agree to disagree here. I don't see a great deal of difference in their music, image or style to be honest. Perhaps the reason they haven't done well is people just don't take them seriously and see them as a rehash. Not that I'm saying 1D are good, because they're a pile of poop but at least they have been successful. Edited January 28, 201411 yr by slowdown73
January 28, 201411 yr it's a shame, their run of singles were better songs and better productions, and much more consistent than some of the other boy bands. I seem to be alone in thinking Show Me Love was their best track and at the very least more ambitious than any 1D single (to date).... I'd agree with all your comments. They are miles ahead of other boy bands and I adore show me love. I think it shows off a new maturity.
