After making a big impression on the

previous episode

of 'Coach Trip', Margy and Mandy continued to unsettle the rest of the tourists as they arrived at the Italian island of Sardinia.

The pair landed themselves in trouble with James and Tom as Brendan asked each couple to state one fact they had learnt about another pair. James was very

unimpressed when Margy said that Tom had a "deep soul" but that he didn't and the boys commented that the newcomers were "too loose with their tongues".

The first activity of the day saw the travellers at an Italian lesson where the tourists asked the tutors to translate some phrases for them. While Emily

went for the strange translation of "you're as smart as a carrot", Nick used the opportunity to flirt again. Brendan mocked him away from the group, telling

the camera "he's desperate to get a girlfriend but I don't think he'll get one on this trip" but, yet again, his target seemed impressed with his charm.

After learning a few key phrases Brendan took the group to a local market, where he tasked them with buying fruit for him. Most struggled, but Emily finally

found out the translation for "carrot" as she borrowed an English-Italian dictionary from a stallholder and began looking up other random words.

At the market, Brendan introduced the newest pair to the group - paganists Ceci and Denise. They made quite the first impression, even saying they're "part

time fairies but sometimes trolls under a bridge." Annabelle commented that she'd be "scared to vote for them" in case they put a spell on her but for

the most part they seemed to get on well with their fellow travellers.

When on a break for lunch, Ceci and Denise and Margy and Mandy were sat together and it was immediately clear why they've been put on the coach at the same

time. It appeared to be harmonious but, with such differing views, the peace between them might not last long.

The second activity of the day, sea kayaking, was just what the tourists were hoping for after spending the day under the warmth of the Sardinian sunshine.

Mandy didn't take part in the task for health reasons and many of the other tourists noted their disappointment that she didn't join in.

The activity looked like great fun and even the locals were laughing and pointing as the tourists were tumbling out of their kayaks. Brendan noticed that

James and Annabelle were flirtatiously messing about and James admitted that he was "treating her mean to keep her keen" but I don't see the flirtation

progressing into anything more.

When it came to vote time, Margy and Mandy unsurprisingly received a yellow card but their fellow tourists were unimpressed with their comments that the

rest of the group were a clique and they were always going to receive a yellow card.

It wouldn't be surprising if Margy and Mandy get a whitewash at tomorrow's vote after their implied comments, especially as they riled Darren and James

up by voting for them because they thought they were "safe" even though the couple already have a yellow card.

Had they been more gracious at vote time the other contestants may have warmed to Margy and Mandy but after their outburst, and knowing what 'Coach Trip'

is like, the rest of the group will probably turn on them tomorrow without hesitation.

After implying that the group were voting tactically

yesterday,

Margy and Mandy had a lot to prove on the twelfth day of 'Coach Trip'.

As Brendan announced that the first activity of the day would be moving around a tree-top assault course most of the tourists were thrilled, with the tour

guide even playing 'Eye of the Tiger' to get blood pumping.

However, upon arrival, Mandy was absolutely petrified, revealing that she was afraid of heights and that the activity was her "worst fear ever" so luckily

Brendan was on-hand to cheer her on and to offer her some words of encouragement as the rest of the group whizzed around the course.

While the others were all rushing around - highlights included Emily forgetting to grab the rope at the end of a zip-line, leaving her suspended in mid-air,

and James announcing that he was going around so fast because he was desperate for the toilet - they didn't realise that Mandy was completely paralysed

with fear at the start of the course and all offered her a huge amount of support by going back and cheering her on.

As Mandy reached the end of the course, Brendan named her "heroine of the day" and the rest of the group were all proud of her efforts. If only her mother

hadn't continued to rile up the other tourists, she may have been in with a chance of staying another day…

When the group headed on to a cheese and wine tasting session, Margy dramatically ran out of the room after seeing maggots inside of a slab of cheese. To

be fair it did look disgusting, but the group thought she was being a bit over-the-top and attention seeking.

When she came back she announced to the other travellers that she had been ill but decided to try the cheese (which was replaced with a safer version, where

the maggots were removed) any way. Unsurprisingly, she was ill again - Julia even

announced on Twitter

that Margy vomited in a wine glass at the table - and it annoyed the group that she even tried the delicacy when she knew it would make her ill.

It was good to see that James and Tom and Nick and Ben continued on with their friendly rivalries at the activity, where they were pushing each other to

try some of the strongest cheeses. However, Darren and James made an intriguing claim when it came to vote time.

They were suspicious of the fact that James and Tom and Nick and Ben had voted for the same couples over the last few days and voiced their opinion that

they may be voting tactically together. It's difficult to judge whether they had been discussing votes, but looking at their choices over the last few

days I think it's probably just a coincidence - especially as there have been some louder characters in recent episodes.

After Margy's actions riled the group up in the afternoon, she and Mandy received a red card and proved that when going on 'Coach Trip' it's important to

choose partners wisely. Nearly all of the couples that voted for the pair stated that their choice had nothing to do with Mandy, especially after she impressed

at the tree-top assault course, so it just goes to show that had she travelled with someone else, she may have lasted more than three days.

The episode drew to a close with Darren and James worrying that they may have made themselves vulnerable by claiming that the boys were voting tactically

and, considering how upset Nick and Ben were by their accusations, I can't help but think the couple are right to be concerned.

YEY! Somebody else loves coach trip.

It's a pity that Margy and Mandy were provided with the red card. I think it was a harsh to award somebody a red card for "being sick" at least she attempted it.

I really dislike James & Tom and hope that they receive a red card soon.

I'm almost positive that Darren and James will be eliminated tomorrow.

i'm surprised james and tom have lasted as long as they have

to be honest, i was disgusted at them since they made the bad comments at the war site

darren and james i guess are okay- at least i've not had a problem with them

the only thing that stood out for me about yesterday's episode (well, not so much the episode, but the comments) a lot of people were going on about what a bad idea it was to show the dolphins as an activity after the programme last year.

i didn't read all of it, but i read 1 that said channel 4 should be ashamed to even think of it

like dolphins though... inteligent animals

i have a feeling that today's yellow card is going to go to emily and annabelle since they've not yet got a yellow card (as pointed out last night)

OMG the mime task thing, killing myself laughing. Especially the girls.

i am all ready getting coach trip withdrawal (which seems strange,) because it has 2 or so weeks to go yet

but i'm always like that!. a tv series i like gets so far in and i'm thinking.... oh my, what am i gonna do when it all ends?

even on this board.... i'm so active in the coach trip thread- what will i post about!

:(

anyway, wouldn't you know it?

i read the future. emily and annabelle got the card. (i didn't sneak peek at the episode, promise!)

not sure what will happen tonight- but i really hope emily and annabelle don' tgo. the main reason being the reasons they had for voting them were stupid- such as they'd been on the show the longest, or they thought it was a safe vote.. but i've a feeling it's either them or darren and james. i think someone will leave for sure

EURGH - the reasons why Emily and annabelle got a yellow card was rather pathetic.

I don't think anybody will be leaving tonight - I think it will be another yellow card.
