Finally, a second single from The Blessed Unrest! It's "I Choose You".

I think it is a great choice for a single as it is very radio friendly and it has positive lyrics once again. Plus, the song already made an impact among gay communities as many relate to the lyrics. I can't wait for the music video.
Nice, I'd have loved Chasing The Sun though. This album is so great.

I'm glad they've finally picked a second single. I don't know if I would have picked it, it's missing a spark for me and it's not one of my favourites but it's pleasant enough. I would have picked "Chasing The Sun" or "I Wanna Be Like Me". The latter is only an iTunes bonus track but it's the one I always get stuck in my head and it's got the whole "be yourself, don't conform" thing she's so good at down.

Apart from "Brave", my favourite song from this album is "Manhattan" because it's quite sad and good to sing along to. Unfortunately, it's not sing along in a "this should be a single" way, it's just a bit soulful and bluesy.

I'm pleased she's shaken off the one hit wonder tag in the USA at least, every time she releases an album I get worried it'll flop and she'll be dropped but I think she actually sells quite well. She's definitely one of my favourite artists, would love to see her live.

Sara wanted 'Manhathan' to be a single actually!

I don't really get this single choice, surely 'Chasing the Sun' or 'Cassiopeia' should be better as a single choice if the label doesn't listen to author and doesn't choose 'Manhathan'?

I really like this song, along with Chasing The Sun, Manhattan and of course Brave this is one of my fave songs on the album

As an aside, I'm still baffled Brave was never big in the Uk :(

My wording was wrong there, I meant I'm baffled they didn't push it more than anything! It had potential to be as big as Love Song imo, such a waste :(
I still have a feeling 'Brave' could get at least a little bit of a push here. It's still top 400 on UK iTunes due to its use on the Microsoft advert I assume, I could see it maybe getting a little bit of support from somewhere and going top 75.

I think Chasing the Sun will definitely be a single eventually, she said so a couple of times. In her hilarious letter to 2014 http://www.sarabmusic.com/news/saras-letter-to-2014/ she specifically said

"We are getting ready to launch some big plans for supporting "I Choose You" and the rest of songs on The Blessed Unrest"

So I'm glad she is planning more singles. Also, it makes me happy she mentions touring outside US, it would be a dream for me if she comes to Europe, I would to certainly make an effort to go and see her.

By the way, I'm not scared what will happen if she flops. Even if she does, I don't see that stopping her from still recording music, she would just find a new label, maybe even start her own label. I think Sara is the kind of artist that will sing forever, she will never retire because music is everything to her - she is happiest when she sings to smaller audiences, she doesn't like huge venues.

I don't really get this single choice, surely 'Chasing the Sun' or 'Cassiopeia' should be better as a single choice if the label doesn't listen to author and doesn't choose 'Manhathan'?

Exactly what I was thinking. It's quite a safe choice for a single, but it could work out fine!

Absolutely love this album and Sara by the way  Great songwriter and vocalist

Finally, a video!

Those are some absurdly creative marriage proposals, especially the dioramas! Amazing though! The song has completely grown on me too, having listened to it many times now.

If I potentially had 1 unreserved seat ticket for her June 3rd London show to sell would anyone be potentially interested?
