Which songs by other artists do you think would have been amazing if The Sats released them or included them on an album? Don't just pick a song because it was successful, think of ones you really think would suit them!

I have a few ideas!

Pixie Lott - Gravity (Just realized this is an Ina song)

 

Alexis Jordan - Good Girl

 

They should have remade this instead of Just Can't Get Enough and it definitely would have been number 1! Amazing gimmick too!

I don't know why - I could genuinely imagine The Saturdays' singing this.

I can imagine that too but I doubt it would be a hit for them.

I've always thought they should cover 'Denial' by Sugababes.

I think Gravity by Pixie Lott is a pretty good idea (not only because it's the only song that I like so far). Its ballad-y enough to pass as a ballad but mid-tempo enough to pass for what the public seem to like and connect with from the girls. Would sound amazing with Mollie on verses, Vanessa on the bridge/Vanessa heavy chorus, Una on the middle 8.

Don't Hold Your Breath was perfect for Nicole but it would've suited the Sats well too. Mollie and Una on the verses, Rochelle on the lead-up to the chorus, Vanessa and Frankie on the chorus and middle-8, and Una with some incredible feline ad-libs at the end.

I think that Beat of my Heart by Hilary Duff would have sat well in the On Your Radar era, maybe as a b-side.

(Vanessa's vocals would have been amazing for Come and Get It, as basic as it is I'd love to hear them sing it over Selena)

 

2. Livvi Franc - Now I'm That Chick/B****

 

 

(I can just imagine Rochelle/Vanessa owning this. Obviously without Pitbull, but I'd love to seem them do something a bit more mature like this)

 

3. Marina & The Diamonds - Primadonna

 

 

(Bit different and as good as Marina does it, It'd be a million times better if princess Mollie was involved. Una's vocals would also be incredible)

Anything by Banarama would be obvious, but good with their vocals.

 

I think they could do an amazing version of Nothing's Real But Love by Rebecca Ferguson - Vanessa's amazing range, and Rochelle's smokey tone would be ideal.

 

I think they'd do a good version of Domino by Jessie J

 

But I think they'd slay an acoustic cover of something more indie pop like Naive by The Kooks, or The Scientist by Coldplay (Like when Stacey Solomon did it on x-factor, but even more amazing)

Yes Jade recorded it first for her solo album, then it wasnt released due to her joining the Sugababes so they gave it to Nadine I assume, but it wasnt on hers either and its such a good song! I'm sad it was never released, I'm in favour of Jades version, but would much prefer a Sats version! B-)
