February 17, 201412 yr Author The OCC are FINALLY crediting Alesso on 'If I Lose Myself'! They've billed it as 'OneRepublic & Alesso' though (which is the artist credit on the top version on iTunes to be fair, though it says 'Alesso vs. OneRepublic' in brackets next to the song title as well). I will get the stats post done this week I promise ~

February 21, 201412 yr Wow, so 'Pompeii' will celebrate its year in the top 100 in style this week  EDIT: By the way, I appreciate all the work that goes into that Bré, thanks. Edited February 21, 201412 yr by noahspike
February 21, 201412 yr Author Wow, so 'Pompeii' will celebrate its year in the top 100 in style this week  Indeed - and a few others on that long runners list are also set for large climbs this week ('Let Her Go', 'Do I Wanna Know?' and 'Love Me Again' may all re-enter the top 40 and 'Get Lucky' could climb once again as well). ~ Also worth noting that 'Our Version Of Events' has become the second album of the decade to have 100 weeks in the top 40 and looks on course to beat '21' (which had 'only' 103 weeks top 40 despite having 76 weeks top 10). :( The next 3 albums with the most top 40 weeks in the 2010s are Mumford & Sons' 'Sigh No More' (99wks), Michael Bublé's 'Crazy Love' (92wks) and Ed Sheeran's '+' (88wks). 'Sigh No More' has 100 weeks in charts dated in this decade due to being #33 on W/E 02/01/2010, but I count that as the final week of 2009.
February 21, 201412 yr Also worth noting that 'Our Version Of Events' has become the second album of the decade to have 100 weeks in the top 40 and looks on course to beat '21' (which had 'only' 103 weeks top 40 despite having 76 weeks top 10). :( Damn, hadn't seen that particular record under threat and would much prefer Adele to retain it. The weeks in the top 10 is more impressive though IMO so at least Emeli didn't overtake her there. Not that it's particularly relevant anyway of course because as much as their chart-runs are in competition, it's easy to forget that '21' has still outsold OVOE by more than 2:1 :P
