Cheers for doing the rate. Quite proud of having given the lowest score to Finding Nemo ;)

I would love for a Disney rate to happen! So many strong movies in their filmography

(I could possibly host it if nobody else wants to)

Great idea. :)

Would be good to do it for all the 2D animations (although I can see my faves languishing near the bottom!)
I think a Disney rate would be awesome although, Like house said, it needs to be narrowed down. If you need a banner made for it, I'll be happy to oblige :)

there's a bonus Monsters University short going with the latest Muppets movie which is pretty good and could easily be a complete 5 or 10 min sequence from the movie.....

just for the fans... B-)

Would be great to rate the 'animated classics' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Walt_...n_Studios_films Though Disney has now added some 3D features at the bottom.

I checked into that, but there were some really weird movies in there (Honestly has anyone actually heard of Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free or Melody Time) and I found at least 1 movie was missing

I Pmed Haus a list tho, so once he replies we'll get this thing started

Honestly has anyone actually heard of Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free or Melody Time

Yes. The Peter and the Wolf section of Make Mine Music is brilliant. The rest is a total mixed bag.

Fun and Fancy Free has Mickey and the Beanstalk in it which is pretty good.

Not seen Melody Time though.

They used to do a lot of these compilation features with animated sequences for popular music of the time and animated short kids stories. I think it was just too expensive, especially in the post-war years, to always go for a full-on, long-form animated classic every time - and there also wasn't any TV, so it was a chance for people to get out and see cartoons.

Something people may be interested in, we know that Pixar films have lots of 'easter eggs' in them (hidden things that feature in numerous films, or certain references to other films) but here are some examples of a few that you may not have seen!
