EP - OUT

Single Mix - Still nothing.

CANCEL IT.

To be fair, cancelling it might actually be the better option seeing as it's only Saturdays fans who are aware the song exists/is being released as a single.

373. Disco Love (Also #200 in Ireland)

933. What About Us

1085. Not Giving Up EP

1496. Living For The Weekend (Deluxe)

I actually don't think it's
that
worrying. I mean, instead of having a successful single on our hands, we will have another top 10-poor sales case on our hands. It's not like it didn't happen with the 4/5 of the last releases.

We know they are recording, Daily Mail posted an article about them recording new material too...We're clearly getting something this summer/autumn so it's not like the flop of 'Not Giving Up' is going to cancel everything.

Obviously as one of the biggest fans of the song, it is very annoying to see such a great song like this one flop, but it happened before. They really can't do much about it.

Sure they could do a radio tour, but still, they can't show up there out of the blue and ask for the hosts to interview them. The radio stations themselves have to agree, and we cannot just assume Radio 1 and Capital absolutely want to interview them more than other artists, for example.

I do believe it might be too soon to rule out any sort of support. Sure it won't be the best, but even something like #45 on airplay is better than to be outside of the top 50... :/

Between them they’ve got three babies, two boyfriends, two husbands and new a beauty line – but that’s not going to stop The Saturdays in their tracks.

They can't even get their facts right, technically Wayne counts as a boyfriend until they marry. ^_^

That's correct! Vanessa + Frankie = boyfriends; Una + Rochelle = husbands; Mollie = doesn't exist!

Wait, has Mollie split from what's his face and I haven't heard? :o

If she has, Anywhere With You certainly wont get performed on the tour, never mind get released

I wouldn't care if this was any other song looking to flop but Not Giving Up is my favourite song of their entire career I think. It just sounds so massive and like a huge lead single or something, it's way too good for fifth single material.
It would have been good if they'd have tagged it onto the next album instead and released it as the lead single.
NGU EP - 711

Bigger than lu-uwa-uh-uwa-uh-uwa-uh....

I remember Disco Love creeping into the top 100 (songs) an hour before it's release where it was within the top 200 for a large part of Sunday.

No complaints here, not really a fan of it!

I think most of us disregard 30 days as the lead from this album but in reality I guess it is What About Us and I don't think NGU would have done better then that considering WAU was their first and only number one.

No I mean the NEXT album

Woops, sorry :P

As in move it to Greatest Hits album and release as lead?

I've seen quite a few comments on The Saturdays' twitter and facebook regarding NGU saying 'OMGZZZ LUV THE NEW SONG, CANt WAIT 4 The ALBUM' - Shows how under the radar the album went.

Whatever album they choose to release next.

I think it would have Made more sense.

We had three underperforming singles from this album, one of which flopped horribly (I like gentlemen.) and an album that's sold less than any of their others (even with a top 10 peak). We all got what we wanted though, a full era and I think it would have been wise, now, to have kept NGU as the lead for the next album.

I really don't mind if it flops now though, cause we've had an amazing era over the last two years, but I don't think it will flop, Atleast not during the opening week. This still could salvage the album though and be a surprise monster hit!
