It's all very sad. It was starting SO well six weeks ago.

Perhaps once the girls start their promo and actually remind the general populous that they are still a group, some will search them and buy the track? Sounds naive but could work

It'll be on 'hot songs' on iTunes from Sunday until next Sunday, and will be seen for 59p. I think Saturday Night Takeaway and Sunday Brunch will both help immensely plus they will be all over MTV and MTV hits over the weekend. I'm really hoping for a top 15.

I'm just wondering, the acts out on the same week who are higher on pre-orders... were their pre-orders not added to the iTunes store much later than The Sats were? So, perhaps them being lower than the rest isn't as bad as it seems?

Sigma was added a couple of weeks later, as was Fancy. The Vamps were added about 3 weeks later. Either way, The Saturdays went to about 450 for 3 days on the week it was added to iTunes and then fell out completely (of even the pop chart) until pretty much a few days ago.

 

The EP has been bouncing around the whole time though (currently 860) and has only started to suffer now that the single version is 59p. Sigma and Iggy do not have EP pre-orders at all.

They haven't tweeted about it in any evenings yet which is silly as that's when the biggest sales come from and the most internet traffic.
