It actually did okay in Ireland - I expected it to debut within the top 100.

I'm so disheartened with this release. With the minimal level of airplay they've got, I know that it will drop massively no matter how high it gets in the first couple of days.

But still, I'm not giving up.

It always drops overnight. It will be climbing back again during the day and should peak around 5-6pm.

I don't think it will go top 10 in Ireland. I'm predicting a peak of around #18. The only reason 'Disco Love' is higher than Not Giving Up is because BBCRadio1 have just played 'Disco Love'. It's a great shame that the Capital spin / Daybreak / Lorraine had little effect. I don't think it has a chance of being top 10 come Sunday now.

 

'Not Giving Up' is #21 in Ireland now. The Extended 12 version has dropped to #150.

Daybreak/Lorraine never have much effect on the singles chart.

 

I feel like the label and the girls dont care about NGU and are more worried about the tour/GH. Which is a shame. NGU coulda been a pop classic if they'd done a good radio tour

This is what they deserve for holding back the song so long. It was recorded in October 2012, fans were raving about it in like February 2013 and yet it's took them until April 2014 to actually release it.
