Maybe when they play the Big Top 40 on release day :) Although that'd be some time after 6pm (hopefully).

Is airplay really even that bad though? Of course we're missing Radio 1 and Capital is only spinning it at night, but there are other stations. I mean it seems like some other big ones like Juice and The Hits and Kiss have been playing it a fair amount. As long as they all increase the spins and Capital starts playing it during the day come release week it could be alright. It just sucks about Radio 1, but it's not like they heavily rotate them even when they are added.

I'm sure airplay will pick up with the release week, but it's a bit sad that it's not even top 50 yet. Their last singles had been hanging around the 30-60s at this point and we were moaning even more about airplay for these.

I do agree that exposure from Radio 1 is definitely good, but let's not pretend they heavily rotate the girls, and worse, let's not pretend they actually play their songs as much as they should be playing them (playlists have a certain amount of plays associated to them).

They aren't increasing spins on Capital, though it's been played 12 times since it was playlisted like 16 days ago, and all on Marvin's show. They won't play it in any prime-time listening times at all. :(

I think some people are buying the album to get NGU straight away. It's not having a massive impact on the single, but an impact all the same.

I'm happy that something is heading up the chart. It's about time :D

I don't care about the EP that much, it'll probably go top ten on release week and then disappear. It's more beneficial to get the single version higher.

looks like Disco Love is going to go away now. Since it last charted 7 weeks ago it's still remained between 400 and 600 before dropping this week. I'd say it finished off on around 136/137k sales.

Which is far better than we could've hoped for once it fell out of the Top 40. I was thinking 120k overall at best, but it's looking like it'll eventually pass 140k.
Poor Not Giving Up, nobody knows it exists. And people thought I was overreacting when it didn't grey play-listed on R1
If it goes badly people will claim it never happened, like apparently there was an album called Wordshaker? I don't think Rochelle knows what that is and neither do I.
