From Manchester and now signed with Interscope, Rixton are apparently another band that have already built a big fanbase via YouTube and Twitter.

 

Really liking this song after giving it a few plays, it really reminds me of something Maroon 5 would do (and some of the vocal on the chorus gives off those vibes too).

 

Vocalist Jake Roche is the son of Coleen Nolan and Shane Richie..

Whoa, this is insanely good! I wasn't expecting much but that chorus is killer. If radio picks this up, it'll be huge.

It's already been played on Kiis fm in the US. The guy that premiered it said it sounded like Maroon 5 and it really really does!

This is an obvious smash hit if ever I heard one. Incredibly catchy.

Reminds me of Rob Thomas' Lonely No More, but the singer does have an Adam Levine quality to his voice. Nice debut single.

It's most definitely 'heard it all before' in that it sounds like it's directly from 2003 and I agree with the early-Maroon 5 vibe and 'Lonely No More' comparison.

 

But the slightly dated, stale sound is outweighed by the fact that it's got one of the most infectious choruses I've heard in ages. I really think this will be a big hit for them.

Not normally my usual thing at all, but this single really is insanely catchy and infectious. When is the release date? I can't see it not being a #1 (this time actually with some longevity, unlike the other boybands).

 

Seen soooo many comments so thought I would check and the chorus is ridiculously similar to this..

This is f***ing awful. A poor mans Maroon 5, and even worse than Lawson! That said, it will obviously do well as it is completely catered for commercial radio. Heart will eat this shit right up!

I find this a hell of a lot better than any Maroon 5 song I've heard tbh, helps that the guy's voice is much more tolerable. Really like this anyway, hope it's a big hit when it's FINALLY released.

Pretty Maroon 5, not sure about their name though? I know artist names you will eventually get used to, but you when you think of their name, see their artwork you think they're trying to be The Vamps or an overly pop band like that. When really they're a much talented bunch of lads who sing songs which haven't been churned out of a pop producers studio! Don't get me wrong their for the charts, but they could have chosen a slightly better name. Early stages for them though, people will find out what they're about soon enough

This is Maroon 5, Olly Murs, Bruno Mars and Lawson all rolled into one, with elements also sounding like Lonely No More by Rob Thomas and Littlest Things by Lily Allen.

Heard this the otherday and REALLY enjoyed it! UGH at its release date though! Anyone know if it is tracking well?
