Well to be fair, I think Hold Me Down and BCYLM are both examples of really poorly handled releases. BCYLM didn't get a physical release or an iTunes EP, and wasn't sent to radio. Hold Me Down didn't get a video I believe (at least not for a while) and it wasn't promoted. Midnight Memories still has time. Not Giving Up is being handled SO much better right now.

I agree. Not that I think BCYLM would have even made the top 20, but it wasn't properlly released. In fact in pretty sure they scrapped it in the end.

I'm thinking there will be some good promo slots.

Look what I said about NGU when the album was released :kink:

Not Giving Up - 10/10 (was 9/10) I could not stand this song based on the previews and was ready to completely ignore it, but my gosh, it is rather good isn't it. I listened to this on repeat for about half an hour cause after the first listen I couldn't turn it off. This needs to be the next single!!! This I think would be the next #1!! and the only reason I can think of that they didn't release it is because they are saving it to keep the album afloat!

really excited about this release! a few people on my fb who aren't known fans of The Sats have been sharing this and not seen that happen since WAU :D
Oh my god that was hilarious  Cannot believe Frankie only listed like three though!

I find the whole thing most sad than funny, to be honest.

They can even be bothered to know their singles? It makes you wonder if they even know the name of their albums...

To be fair to Frankie she's not usually their to promote the single so no wonder she doesn't know their titles!
 the things that pressure does to you haha
I bet Rochelle gave her a good telling off when the camera stopped rolling!

Shoved her head in the toilet and after a few flushed farted on her face as revenge

Tv, it hasn't been playlisted on any big radio station yet

Is that TV or radio?

TV, and it's 36 not 37.

I think it's just pressure / being put on the spot. The mind can go strangely blank at times! Plus, at the end of the day it's their job. They're probably not super fans of themselves.

Along these lines in the Spice community, there was an occasion when Emma Bunton was absolutely adamant that the Spice Girls single 'Stop' was taken from their first album 'Spice'... when in actual fact it is from their second album, 'Spiceworld'! What's more, it was the third single into that album! The fans felt collectively incredulous that Emma could make such a huge mistake, but even when a fan mentioned this to her she was defensive and still thought she was right. On another occasion Emma was promoting a single called 'All I Need To Know', but in more than one interview she called it 'All That I Need'.

Sorry for the long example. :kink: In summary, I don't really hold it against Frankie/Vanessa for being a bit crap when it came to naming their own singles on the spot.

You're missing the point, I think. I never said I hold it against them nor am I mad at them, I just think it's sad, not funny.
