Does anyone still really think this can make the top ten? I actually think top 15 will be a struggle.

If it does make the top 10 though, then it'd show radio their idiots.

I don't think the radios would care much about another free-falling top ten. If it had had decent airplay I really beilive it would have been one of their better performing singles, though. :(

I think most people do. They have a huge fanbase which will boost it top 10 and it's not like Capital are completely avoiding it

I think the girls have entered the stage of their career now where they're just going to be a fanbase act, like McFly. A few top ten singles per album, a top ten album, small successful tours, nice schedules etc...

Not Giving Up was an option on the "I Want" thing on Capital TV. You have to Tweet the name of a song to Capital TV and they'll play it. It has lost out six times in a row and still hasn't been picked. :(

This is how I got Not Giving Up played the other week! But, it was there for an hour and a half before it got chosen when I was watching, which I found quite bad.

It's being played by Heat Radio

No, it's not.

No, it's not.

Not all radio stations are recorded by Compre my radio. In fact only some are, that's why it isn't on the compare my radio

He said Heat not Heart

Oh sorry! that makes more sense, James barr said he'd be playing it :)

I shouldn't worry about Heart, it only boosts places in radio airplay, I don't think it actually helps a lot selling songs, very similar to radio 2. That's only because in the south of England, you don't get Capital, just the BBC and Heart, which works to heart's advantage. Or that's how it was in 2010 when I was in Plymouth :P
I can see it being anywhere between 18-25, could be their lowest charting yet, I almost forget it was out in less than 2 weeks!
I think it could very well pull a Disco Love and far exceed everyone's expectations. And it would only have to sell half as much as Disco Love to make the Top 10 which is very doable.

It will pull off a 30 Days, basically chart in the top 10 making us believe there's somekind of hope, only to fall to 29 on the second week and well you know how it goes after that.

I strongly believe the airplay will pick up A BIT during the release and that the promo, their fanbase, the physicals and the "general buzz around the release" will put them in the top 10. But that only works with the first week. Once these first seven days are gone, Jesus Christ, pray for 'Not Giving Up'.

I'd love it if it went top ten. But this has had *much* worse airplay than Disco Love or 30 Days. And it doesn't look like they are getting any kind of decent airplay slot. They've never had a single go out there with 0 radio 1 support, virtually no capital support and TV airplay this low.

I am really sad and disappointed at how this has gone, and the reality is, the girls can only have so many flops. This era has been a success purley for WAU and to a lesser extent DL. But the album sales, G and now NGU has to have a penalty and I think the girls would be better to have a great tour later this year, a Greatest Hits record and a killer party anthem final single and bow out.

I love them so much, but it would be much better to go out on a high than to become a band nobody cares about, and clearly they have had their run. Most bands do 3 years/3 studio albums, these girls have managed 7 years with lots of memorable hits, a massive number one, acclaimed singles and album and they have earned the respect of so many in the industry for being nice girls who are very likeable. Somebody who was a Sats fan during Chasing Lights who would have been 13 is now 20! They are an insitution in some peoples lives, but as VickyB says "you have to know when it's time to leave the party.."

Notorious!

What's the promo total for this so far.

Lorraine next week

The MTV thing on the 5th

Sunday Brunch on the 6th

Anything else we know of yet?

It looks like whoever is performing this Saturday on Ant and Dec has canceled, and they have no annouced performer/celebrity at the moment. How amazing would it be if thats what they're rehearsing for.
