October 6, 200618 yr Virgin Music news Church takes a year off Channel 4 has recommissioned another two series of The Charlotte Church Show - prompting the singer to take a year off from music. The current series, which has seen the young star fool people into thinking she is a man and take part in a talent contest as a wannabe Charlotte Church, ends next week. The show has been watched by around 1.9 million viewers - a 10% audience share - which Channel 4 boasts is above the average audience for a new series. Almost half the audience, 40%, are aged between 16 and 34, the demographic beloved of advertisers. The Crazy Chick singer, 20, said: "I'm delighted that the show has been a success and that Channel 4 is confident enough to commission two more series. "I've loved the experience so much that I'm going to take a year out from making records to concentrate on the show, so that it's even better when it returns next year." The Friday night series, which was launched on September 1, will continue with a second run of six 45-minute shows starting in spring next year, and a further six in the summer. There will also be a special Christmas edition later this year. It will use the same format - combining comedy sketches, pre-recorded hidden camera stunts, celebrity guests and audience participation - as the present series and will be filmed close to broadcast in front of a studio audience. Guests on the Welsh star's show so far have included comic Johnny Vegas, actress Patsy Kensit, comedienne Ruby Wax, Denise Van Outen and singer Nelly Furtado. Church, who has found love with rugby star boyfriend Gavin Henson, released her debut pop album 'Tissues and Issues' last year.

October 14, 200618 yr Did anyone watch it last night? Her guests were singer Amy Winehouse & "Lily's Dad" Keith Allen. Apparently Amy Winehouse got very :P , and her performance with the duet with Charlotte did her no favours.

I think she's very lucky in that she can do anything she wants. For me she's more appealing and a better role model than Paris Hilton for example. Taking a year off wont do her much harm as she's still gonna be in the public eye and still singing on her show. Oh, just thought! She could release her theme tune. I'd buy it. :D

October 19, 200618 yr finally people hu agree every1 says that she is putting it on 4 show and it is a show for gods sake and i fink she's dead funny and i love the undercover missions she goes on especcialy the office one that is hilarious.
