I'll go from a preposterous link to a rather obvious one that was simply too good to miss.

I'm glad you did that because it enables me to go from Beirut to the capital of neighbouring Syria. Here with their smash hit Damascus are Catwalk.

well done on the Bobbie Gentry link, thought it was looking like a deadend link for a while

Well, on the Catwalk, I shake my little tush, errr but Right Said Fred have gone so here's an altogether more stylish way of walking,

Walk In The Night, Junior Walker & The Allstars saxtastic Motown hit

Now, if you go for a walk in the night...especially somewhere secluded you should bring a Whistle with you for safety. Might as well bring this one...a great bit of hip-hop-pop from 1985.

Whistle Down The Wind was a Nick Heyward track. I preferred this sweet melodically-overdosed hit though...3 hooks for the price of one!

Blue Hat For A Blue Day..

Naked was the name of one of Louise's biggest hit singles. Louise used to be a member of Eternal before she departed for a solo career. Eternal Flame was the only UK #1 for The Bangles. Flame is often used to describe the colour of red haired people. Tori Amos is a red haired person. Tori is one of my favourite artists ever.

Couldn't you have just gone from Blue to Purple?

Anyway Sheb Wooley had a novelty hit with a song called Purple People Eater. As that is rubbish I'll move on to a different type of knitwear, The Cardigans with Erase Rewind.

Couldn't you have just gone from Blue to Purple?

The song was a last minute switch, it was originally going to be:

Which of course is a terrible argument as I've just realised I could have gone from rain to cloud. :D

After you've erased, and rewound...you eject don't you?

Well I believe it's that time when 3 Lions periodically recharts is coming due shortly, which makes Senser, I mean Sense..r.

Oh it all makes Sense to the Lighting Seeds, what a marvellous record anyway!

One of the inhabitants living near coral might well be a moray eel. Here's a group of them with their best record - Last Stop: This Town

Nice weather for ducks? Sounds like Bad Weather. The final hit of the the great non-Ross Supremes line-up, it was good but this one's better...

Stoned Love!

From 'Stoned Love' to a group who loved getting stoned...Cypress Hill.

Insane? Mad? Mad World? No, let's go for their ultimate classic instead..

Everybody Wants To Rule The World ...Tears For Fears...

If Everybody who wanted to rule the world got to rule the world then, at most, they'd probably get to be 'King for a Day'. This was the name of an obscure B-side by Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine who are far, far better known for this little gem about slum landlords.
