February 27, 201411 yr I would like Outrigger and State Of Drama (just call me the schlagerwrecker) I think it'll be Helena & Martin though, or possibly JEM/Linus instead of Helena. Can't see the three rock bands really challenging now in all honesty and Ellinore's goodwill can only carry her so far (I HOPE anyway http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/zombie.gif)
February 27, 201411 yr 01 Martin 02 Helena 03 Outrigger 04 Linus 05 JEM 06 State Of Drama 07 Ellinore 08 Ammotrack That's my guess - wonderful write up as ever Tirren. Can't see anyone aside from Ammotrack coming last (due to over-saturation of the genre and being SHIT compared to the other pieces of rock on offer) but beyond that it's pretty much anyone's guess. I'll be behind Outrigger and State Of Drama as I said in t'other thread. Would not mind the three pop songs I put in the top four through either, and JEM would be quite nice too. Basically anyone but ELLINORE (as much as I feel bad for hating on her).
February 27, 201411 yr Predix 01 Helena 02 Outrigger 03 JEM 04 Martin 05 Linus 06 State Of Drama 07 Ellinore 08 Ammotrack Essentially, I think the best case scenario of a Helena/JEM qualification is entirely possible.
February 27, 201411 yr What I WANT to happen 01. Helena 02. JEM 03. Linus 04. Martin 05. State Of Drama 06. Ellinore 07. Ammotrack 08. Outtrigger Helena v. Martin JEM v. Linus What I THINK will happen 01. Outtrigger 02. Helena 03. Martin 04. Linus 05. State Of Drama 06. Ellinore 07. JEM 08. Ammotrack Outtrigger v. Linus Helena v. Martin To be honest I really don't care, so long as Helena makes it to the final. As nice as Ellen Benediktson's song is, I can't believe it went direkt over Helena. :( Edited February 27, 201411 yr by AdamAloud
February 27, 201411 yr Want Helena & JEM Predict Helena (just) and Elenore, though I think Martin could steal Helena's thunder.
February 27, 201411 yr Want: Helena and JEM Think: Helena and Linus I do love Bröder though! I'm thinking that outcome is too good to be true
February 27, 201411 yr MELODIFESTIVALEN IS A CELEBRATION THAT DOESN'T KNOW THREAD BOUNDARIES. I thought you being a FAN knew that... :(
February 27, 201411 yr Want: Helena & Outtriger (Linus as close 3rd) Think: Helena & Martin (Could be JEM instead of Martin but not convinced) Adding more to this: 1. Helena 2. Martin 3. Linus 4. Outtrigger 5. J.E.M 6. State of Drama 7. Ellinore 8. Ammotrack Helena vs Outtrigger = Helena Martin vs Linus = Martin Between Martin, Linus, Outrigger, J.E.M and State of Drama it seems like a bloodbath. It feels like an almost impossible call to make. Any justice and Ammotrack & Ellinore will stay down at the bottom.
February 27, 201411 yr Latest from Spotify in Sweden. http://oi62.tinypic.com/33e4dol.jpg I definitely think it'll be Sanna winning though, she'll have the juries and the public on side. I don't know if the juries will go for Ace.
February 27, 201411 yr Report: Melodifestivalen robot buys votes for contestants REPORT: MELODIFESTIVALEN ROBOT BUYS VOTES FOR CONTESTANTS The latest Eurovision voting scandal does not involve allegations of undercover operatives in former Soviet countries. Instead it involves robots buying votes for singers at Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s beloved national seleciton for Eurovision. P4 Sjuhärad, a program broadcast on Sveriges Radio, has seen footage which shows a computer casting votes for an unnamed Melodifestivalen contestant. Journalists from the program spoke with a man in Western Sweden who designed the program, which can cast several hundred votes per minute. The man, who is remaining anonymous, told the journalists that he wanted to demonstrate cheating was possible. And while he was motivated by the muckraker spirit, he didn’t mind pocketing a few kroner in the process. One contestant from a recent contest paid him an undisclosed sum in exchange for 2,500 votes. That amount of votes would have been enough to steal victory from Robin Stjernberg in the 2013 final. The news has subsequently made its way into Aftonbladet, Sweden’s largest newspaper, and has the Twitter hastag #melfestrobotgate. It’s no wonder that Christer Björkman, the executive producer in charge of Melodifestivalen, has spoken out. “It does not conflict with any contest rules, but there is something called ethics too,” he says . “And it’s up to each individual to decide what is ethically correct or not.” Who do you think the unnamed contestant is? In the wake of the Eurovision 2013 voting scandal, does this further undermine the Eurovision franchise at large, or just Melodifestivalen in particular? Let us know in the comments box below! Update at 1400 GMT: SVT has announced new rules effective immediately that ban the use of automated voting at #melfest. During a hastily scheduled press conference, SVT’s project manager Maria Ilstedt explained why SVT is acting. “It is important that this competition is fair play,” she said. “We should be able to trust each other and that the Swedish people vote for these people.” Furthermore, all Melodifestivalen-related betting has been called off in Sweden. Organizers suspect that vote-rigging isn’t merely about helping a contestant through, but also about helping certain people make lots of money off of certain acts advancing.

It wouldn't have been enough to steal victory from Robin in the 2013 final. It would have been enough to knock him out of andra chansen though, but that's nothing new. I can't even begin to guess at who the contestant might have been, but I'm SINCERELY HOPING it was Janet Leon this year *.*

February 27, 201411 yr Author how does this duels SHIT work can't wait for a few more jakegetsthewrongendofthestick moments on saturday hashtag + a kink God what do you think those OPENING PARAGRAPHS WERE 8 perform. Voting. Top 4 go to the next round. 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd.
February 27, 201411 yr Author Christ(er) knows. I imagine to reduce the likelihood of the 'true winner' of andra chansen getting knocked out, which would be more likely if it was 1st vs 3rd and 2nd vs 4th, and the likelihood of something undeserving going through from 2nd vs 3rd is probably quite low.
