Don't get me wrong I still like the original it's just the chorus seems kind of empty, maybe its because I've listened to the acoustic quite a lot over the past few days. :P

Ahhh okay! The lyrics are beautiful on the chorus :P

Had been streaming the album but decided to buy the MP3 yesterday as Amazon have reduced it to £2.99 :kink: They might get a small boost from it being so cheap already?

I doubt this will ever go top 40 again - I SERIOUSLY want to be proved wrong because I love them as a group but you can't have sympathy for a group who did no promo apart from one five minute chat

I wonder if there is really any place for bands like Neon Jungle to promote themselves though - There are so many similar bands that the daytime TV shows can pick who they want and NJ have not had a smash like Stooshe did to command any kind of exposure.

And yes this campaign/album is over - Some great songs on the album but a 5th single release would flop.

It's a shame they didn't do promo for Braveheart because I think that could have smashed! It got to no.4 out of nowhere!

It is a shame this campaign is over but I'd definitely have made Louder a post-album single. I just hope they aren't dropped because they could take on the mistakes of this era and improve for next time. AND no babies a la Saturdays to slow them down quite yet :kink:

I was just listening to 'London Rain' such a great track but no chance of being a hit.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do get dropped - I think labels especially one like Sony will be very aware that the whole girl/boy band theme is starting to flop again at the moment - The Saturdays, Stooshe, The Wanted, M.A.D, Kingsland Road etc, - Not sure that an album which has no chance of going silver and their heavy investment in them so far will make them want to attempt album 2?

Girlband, yes. Boyband, absolutely not? 1D, The Vamps and 5SOS are going strong, M.A.D and Kingsland Road aren't even on a big label are they? That market is just oversaturated and cheap cast-offs of 1D aren't gonna do anything of course, especially with no support.

(sorry I realise that's very off-topic)

I partially agree - most of the boybands around are going downhill because of this cultural obsession with 1D but I wouldn't say they are cast-offs of 1D i.e. Rixton, Kingsland Road and Lawson are all really different to 1D. How you can say The Vamps are going strong with one album out is a bit much though

In terms of girl groups, within the next few months it is going to be harder for girl bands as you'll have:

- G.R.L releasing this month

- The Saturdays have always been around (are they going to continue, who knows)

- Little Mix possibly releasing their new material

- Fifth Harmony launching Bo$$ and probably Reflection in the UK

- Neon Jungle have been quite prominent this year with Braveheart and Welcome To The Jungle being particularly mainstream

It pains me to say this but I definitely think Neon Jungle and The Saturdays will be off that list by the end of the year if they don't get they don't manage themselves properly.

I really hope they can save this, their singles have done well so hopefully they release another soon and bring some attention back to the album. The album is disappointing though, it just seems very short after all the singles imo.

Agreed. I was SO disappointed when they only recorded 10 songs for the standard edition, really could have done another three and made a post-album single to create some buzz. Unfortunately I doubt this will happen :/

The Vamps have had four top 4 singles and a gold-certified album :P Rixton have had a #1, which is looking to be a bit of a "non-#1" as much as I hate that phrase. Kingsland Road aren't even denting the top 40, and in all honesty, they are pretty much a 1D cast-off. Rixton and Lawson aren't but they're kinda different anyway. You're defending artists who, Lawson aside, have less releases than The Vamps, who you criticised me for defending :P

(sorry off topic again, the album is fab still x)

I wasn't criticising I was expressing my opinion! -_- B-)

I also COMPLETELY disagree that other bands aside 1D etc are getting support because if that's the case Union J wouldn't have made it passed their first album and TV wouldn't have support either (well, lets be honest, they don't need support they just need to put out four copies of everything they release and they know the fans will buy every single one). Personally I hope The Vamps end up going the way The Saturdays/The Wanted and have with a strong first era and a flop second OR third but we'll see.

I just think this cultural opinionated measure of "oh they're like 1D" when not every group is has crossed the line from opinion and everyone believes it to be true and factual, when it necessarily isn't. It's like any girl band since the 90s trying to be The Spice Girls all over again!

The Box are streaming the Neon Jungle hangout thing and they've just played Welcome To The Jungle. HOW did they not even consider releasing the album after this when it was probably finished by then?

They hasn't developed themselves into figures of interest thus far. Even after Bravheart smashed people still didn't know who Neon Jungle were, so when Welcome To the Jungle failed to sell even half as much as Bravehart I don't think there was any choice but wait for another single. Also there's the fact that Welcome To the Jungle isn't really an album launching single and it doesn't really reflect the album in general. Releasing the album after WTTJ would have fared even worse as their fan base was still small and there was no demand or interest in an album by a random girl band who had come literally out of nowhere.

Louder was a better album launching single as first off, it was a ballad and second of all, it showed them as artists as opposed to throw away dance-pop guest vocalists which Braveheart and WTTJ basically made them out to be.

With a declining interest in girl bands this album was never going to sell that well, especially when they don't offer anything particularly new. I love these girls to bits but unless they pull out a proper BANGER that makes the whole of the UK stand and notice them and remember the name 'Neon Jungle', then there is no future for them as little hype will die quickly and airplay will bomb. They're like a female Union J - they're just their but no one outside their fan base really gives a shit, sadly. :(

I think releasing after 'Welcome To The Jungle' would haven been better, I really think by single 4 they'd missed the boat and not struck while the iron is hot and you never release the album off the back of a ballad if you're an act of this calibre. It's always a mistake.

The things is they still haven't developed into figures  I can see what you're saying but to assume more people came on board with Louder may not be entirely true. I definitely remember finding WTTJ really annoying, looked Braveheart up on Youtube and was hooked from then onwards (for the record I love WTTJ now!). I think (in my opinion as this forum rarely understands the word) they do offer something new but as you said they're hardly not a household name which is a shame

& the difference is with UJ, I actually see them promoting Tonight, even if it's just a week of single signings and a chat yesterday morning on Lorraine - first single of album two. Neon Jungle think Lorraine for the first time ever promoting near enough for Louder and album signings? Then yes, they almost certainly deserve to flop, as do The Saturdays. :(

Agreed - The Saturdays (My Heart Takes Over) springs to mind immediately.

Ouch - Album down to #66 in its 3rd week  Such a great pop album and the fact it's available for less than £3 and still plummeting does not give me much hope that the album can be revived  I think the record company after their investment and 4 Top 15 singles would have been expecting Gold as a minimum from this?

Really disappointed that the album has dropped out of the Top 100 this week - Was hoping that it would hang around at the bottom of the charts for a few more weeks yet  Such a great pop album and it doesn't deserve to flop this hard :drama:
I think the best thing at this stage would be to try and start beef with Little Mix.
